I am 38 and my skin is pretty "normal" with no dryness or particular oily areas. I do have early signs of aging like fine lines/texture, as well as some sun damage and REDNESS!
I don't use fake tan, but I get very tan naturally in the summer as I have an olive undertone so my face is often a LOT lighter than my body, because I keep my face very well protected to keep my melasma under control and signs of aging at bay!

Dear Charlotte, You introduced me to PML and Mariam A explained why she's so good. And I have bought Midnight Sun (half price). I am loving it! It's of course ridiculous for me, a middle-aged housewife, but I stand at the kitchen sink in a full face of make up (and shoes - in joke) and I smile every time I see my reflection. Thank you! (And I got the clue on your eyelids instantly. Yay!) PS I only have drugstore and one Dior quint, and the quality of the mattes was a revelation!

I was so shocked when you said the price of MS XI was cheaper by 20 pounds, I actually changed country to verify. In US it seems to be the same price, in Japan too, but in UK it is lower! You have some connections Charlotte, she changed the price just for you 😂

Huh! Thank you for the advice because I hate that blue shade and I love green. I’ll try this and see if I can get use out of that ugly blue. That being said as much as I hate the blue that is my number 1 favorite palette from Pat.

Agree 100% on Moonlit Seduction! My all time fav too! And I’m also afraid to admit how much I love Sunlit Seduction. LOL Boring? Perhaps. But it is so easy to put a look together, and it’s beautiful every time. Love your ranking! And hope your daughter is feeling better. ❤

I will eventually get Moonlit Seduction with a super sale and it will only be because of you. I love it, but am not sure how much use I would get out of it. To me, nothing beats Midnight Sun. Not just among Pat's palettes, but in the world of make up. She was capable of actually recreating the natural event of a Midnight Sun to the point of making the palette a piece of art, imo. I mean, they all are, but that one is something else. I have used Sunlit Seduction a lot, since I got it. It's super easy but you get a PML easy look, not a "whatever" easy look. Easy but gorgeous. I'd love for her to give us a "forest morning" palette next year, with the greens, the reflectivity of the light on the water, the subtle morning light through the woods, the sparkling soil, and something like that. We know she can do that. Hopefully people will start buying earthy palettes.

I’ve been waiting for this ranking!!!! The top three did not surprise me one bit, not a bit! And as soon as you said we’d be shocked by the ranking on Divine Rose II I knew it was going to be that palette! I’m not overly impressed with the new mothership I’ll be honest, I think the lack of the special shades has done it for me more than anything. If it wasn’t a mothership then I think I’d be more excited about it honestly as it is lovely and I’ve used it more than I expected to which is good :) Thank you for another fabulous video, I hope Aoife is recovering well and you guys are OK too ❤

I absolutely agree with you on your #1 & 2 palettes. They are stunning. I purchased both of these a while back when they were on sale and am glad I did. They are the most special of all my palettes. You also show how a person's taste can change as revealed by Divine Rose II status. Totally agree as I find my preferences have changed from one year to the next. But the Motherships will always have a special place in my collection. Thank you for discussing each palette and its unique qualities.

I’m not as upset as a lot of other people about the newest mothership but here in the US it’s the same price as all the rest. I wish it was a little bit cheaper since we don’t have those lovely baked shades

Decadence doesn't have special shades, either. Nobody ever complained about that price. With the sales, it's easy to get them discounted.

@@loytocoyes but decadence has a unique formula, unlike sunlit, in which there even is a dud (the cranberry shade). Sunlit seduction is more like a extended quad, instead of a true mothership. Doesn't have the same feels.

@@RoseOfMadina I approach it differently than other motherships, but that doesn't change the fact that it gives you a PML look. I guess she is fine experimenting as long as she does exactly what some people want. Many people are overwhelmed by a Mothership, and she gave them something different, but still PML. I know somebody who only buys quads from Pat because they wouldn't know what to do with a mothership. I know people who don't like Decadence. We are all different and a make up house should have products for everyone. The price is the same because it's a PML palette, which delivers more than the average luxury palette. Tom Ford charges the same price independently from the formula he chooses to use. So does Dior, so does Chanel. Pat runs so many sales that it is easy to get the palette for a reasonable price.

I got my first mothership yesterday. Spent weeks desciding wich i liked best and choose the moonlit seduction after only watching reviews. Now I watch rankings and see that I am not the only one who loves the colorstory. Its a glitter naturell dreampalette ❤

I just have one, the subliminal 1 palette which I got like 40% off in one of her sales for Christmas for £60, so it was a steal. I love the blue shade and also all the white and special shades, cool tones are also my favourite. I like the Heutopian dream one as well, if I were to get another Pat palette it would be Heutopian dream, because I love shimmers and the purples

Part of the complaint about sunlit is there was no price cut for the US. Cost same money but not giving same quality. I have every palette she’s ever made. Sunlit wasn’t up to snuff regardless of specialty shades. It is my most unused palette. I use my singles more than that one. The color story is gorgeous but even still I never use that one. Ever.

I have 4 mothership's and no1 has to be Midnight sun, i absolutely love this palette it's gorgeous 😍 no2 Divine Rose 1, that rose gold shade is everything. No3 subliminal i absolutely love the mattes in this one and the artwork on the other box is beautiful. No4 Moonlit seduction, I'm a light skin tone and same of the mattes make me look like i have a bruise but the shimmers are beautiful.

If I may, try looking for suggestions on how to use it. A Mothership is such a jewel, that you should really get the joy it can give! Since Charlotte doesn't have that one, I suggest checking out Alicia Archer. She has plenty of looks with that palette.

I don’t own any PM Mothership palettes. I keep going through them online, watching videos on them, to find which one I want to be my first palette. I’m on a very tight budget, I can’t afford to make a mistake and buy the wrong one, so I need to be very sure I love the palette and have no regrets. 😩 So I go back and forth with her palettes trying to decide which one I should buy. 😩 I have very similar tastes as you when it comes to eyeshadow shades, but, I don’t find myself liking your number 1 choice. I don’t like the typical shade of shimmer with a shifting brown base. I think I have that shade in so many palettes, and your number one choice has that shade in it. Now that makes me second guess buying that palette. Hmmm…see I keep going back and forth trying to decide which one I want!

I have 7 motherships, its funny because its all the same ones as you except moonlit seduction. Im missing 10, 7,2,4. I dont want 4 (i have 4 out of the 10 shades in decadence across other pallettes and singles). I go back and fourth on between picking up 2,7&10. So ive been good in holding off. My ranking is 5,9,3, 11, 1,6 & 8(tied first place i can't decide)

I'm so confused about Moonlit Seduction. Mine's on a pile to get rid of, because the shimmers don't look anything like yours. They're like fine, pressed glitter. If i swatch on the back of my hand and blow, they disappear. Is it possible I got a dud?

It is a baked gelee, you can use it with a brush, finger (bigger impact) or with a wet brush( you'll get the most).

Yes, as christina explained, and also the baked formula is special in that the shadow is so lightweight. There is no texture. You can layer and layer on the eyes, and it will never bunch up. Within the baked shades, she has the blitz, which are strong toned shadows (like the red in mothership 5). The vr and astrals are transformative topper shades that you can layer on other shadows and make magic happen. The baked shadows don't crease, not even on oily eyelids or hooded and are suitable for eyelids with wrinkles. You can mix and match (layer) the baked shades with any regular shade and a new look will commence, that's the artistry and fun of the motherships. (Though pat seems to be moving away from baked shades in her motherships. MS9 contained 3 instead of 4, MS10 none and now MS11 none either).

Dear Charlotte, love PMG shadows but I will never order from them again no matter how great the sale seems to be. Last time I ordered the new blush it never arrived when I asked what happened they said it was out of stock but they never sent me a refund or notify me that the product is not available. Then, last month I placed an order for about 130$. Still have not received it and can not get a response from customer service😢

She did, but sold it bc she didn’t love it. I have all of them and, for me, Huetopian Dream ranks at the bottom with Decadence. The fallout for HD is insane and the coral shade looks garish on my skin tone.

For me it's one of my fav! It's like a fairy palette. I love the lilacy special shade (yes it's flaky). The coral matte looks gorgeous as transition, but also as blush. The multichrome in there is a great one and done! With the mauvy matte and pinky metallic you can creat a beautiful soft day look. The other special shade, above the lilacy one, is also very yummy and glittery. I adore it!

I challenge you to wear those non worn shades. As fab as you look in red, it's a crime not to try that red metallic in the Bronze Seduction.

It’s only cheaper for the UK and the Brits don’t seem to focus enough on how it causes backlash everywhere else to pay the markup without special shades.
