@@VieuxCrouton The problem with Kefka is that he's not known for close combat, which is something most characters in Smash have. So Sephiroth is easier to transfer.

YESSIR!!! Fire Emblem is easy to make fun of, but it's so good! Robin happens to be my one of my mains so I'll never shit on him, he too good of a character to be done dirty 😁

Maybe as an addition you are right, Corrin didn't need to be in the game, but as a moveset he definitely needed to be in. I have no idea who'd be able to replace someone like Corrin, so in that regard I'm somewhat happy to have him!

For real, people need to expand their mind a little, the best thing about Smash is that it exposes people to new franchises! I can't imagine someone missing out on games like FE or Xenoblade just because of the Smash community's reputation, it could become one of their favorite games :D

@@VieuxCrouton speaking of Xenoblade, there’s no reason why Aegis and Xenoblade 2 shouldn’t be in the roster. The reactions to me proved how little the Smash community understood their own game and the appeal of Smash. They did the same with Hero and Terry when they were revealed as well. It’s why I’m glad not every addition was because of the western Smash community because these types of characters wouldn’t have gotten their chance to shine if so

Amen brother, Xenoblade doesn't deserve the shit it gets from the Smash community, it's one of my favorite franchises of all time, and for the next installment I'm hoping for Noah's, alongside Mio's maybe, inclusion! :D

To me, my least to most favorite DLC goes: 12. Pirahna Plant 11. Min Min (seriously, that moveset is atrocious, but it's a good character to add) 10. Steve 9. Hero 8. Kazuya 7. Byleth 6. Pyra 5. Terry 4. Banjo 3. Sephiroth 2. Sora 1. Joker

Ironically enough Min Min was in all fareness the only character I got genuinly exited for once they got revealed, mostly because I was spoiled about Sephiroth's and Pyra/Mythra's inclusions in the game before I could get to watch their reveal trailers, by the time Joker got revealed I wasn't even aware of the existence of the SMT franchise, let alone Persona's, and I literally didn't care in particular for ANYBODY else besides Sora and maybe Terry and Hero. Sooooo... yeah that's something rather bizarre I guess. 😅 Despite your hate for my 2nd or 3rd favorite DLC character tho, I'd say that everything else is pretty much spot on. good ranking overall.

Opinion respected, thanks for sharing! Yeah for Min Min I went ham, I just don't like her whatsoever LOL but if someone's happy about her inclusion I aint gonna take it away from them :) The rest of the DLC is real nice tho, not much of a real problem :D

Yeah Morgana says "we've been invited to steal the greatest treasure of all" which is the smash invitation! It's my 2nd favorite one cuz it was sooo unexpected I talked about it during the Joker section lol

Vieux sakurai said he's making smash 6 so i want to see Edge from Sparks of Hope, Midna from the Zelda series when she is riding wolf link just like from Hyrule warriors, Geno from mario, Crash Bandicoot from the Crash Bandicoot series, Spyro the dragon from the spyro series, Zetteburn from Rivals of Aether, and Conker the squirrel from Conker's bad fur day

15:52 The "3D means he cant be in smash" is dumb, if there was any real reason it would be his moves, but thankfully smash found a good way to make them work (Still 10 punch combo sucks in Tekken dont @ me)

I dont know much about Tekken, but bro seriously Tekken may be a 3D fighter but it's on a 2D plane, I never saw the problem despite being explained by my friends countless times LOL

Watching late because I am nostalgic for Smash content But as a note (Byleth trailer still bad) In Japan Male and Female Byleth have different names; and the recruit mechanic is core to 3H so it’s more like “Byret recruits Byres”

Reason why nobody agrees with this is because "Too many anime swordsmen" argument bs, which needs to stop. People need to realize that this game is made by Japanese devs and is trying to appeal to as many people as possible, and unfortunately for them the pillars of the gaming industry are Japanese games. And yes, Byleth has a super fun moveset which grants him one of the highest spots on my list, and objectively it's deserved. Also fun fact despite being a silent protagonist, Byleth has more backstory than Link!
