My favorite King books are It, The Sining, The Stand, Needful Things, The Dark Half and Bag of Bones. It took me a full year to read It because it was so scary. Loved hearing your take on some of his titles I haven’t read. 📚📚📚

I’ve read so many of his book and still need to read so many of his books if that makes sense, 😂😂 This was such a great video, now I need to read more uncle Stevie!! 📚I'm reading Dreamcatcher now and am really liking it so far. My first King book was The Shining. I loved the movie but didn't understand why King hated it. So I read it now I know lol. I liked the backstory bc you start to understand that the hotel itself is one of the min characters.

I’ve read Dolores Claiborne & Pet Semetary. Loved both of them. Dolores Claiborne is my fav out of bc of the 2 because of how it’s written.

I tried reading IT but I couldn’t get over how many times the n-word was used and it actually put me off his books for awhile…I did however really enjoy The Long Walk and The Shining!

I found The Shining rather boring too! I listened to it on a car trip. I agree that some parts were creepy... a "dog" comes to mind... 😱 but overall yeah it just didn't wow me! Misery, Dolores Claiborne, and The Long Walk are on the top of the list for me though to be fair there are many I have yet to read. Carrie comes up behind those three. I liked how he put in newspaper clippings to show the time, events, for context. A few not so favorite King reads, Elevation, Finders Keepers, and unfortunately... I wasn't a big fan of Pet Semetary 😬. Still have to read Christine, Cujo, The Stand, Salem's Lot, and more, and I've been half done with Duma Key for a long time even though I really like it... I got distracted with other things! I have not read "It" because I've heard about that ending and it really does not sit well with me, though I know it's popular. I enjoyed your rankings! Makes me want to pick him up again... it's been a long minute. 😊📚

I just counted my Stephen King reads and I was surprised that I’ve read 23. My top 3 are Misery, Green Mile, and Billy Summers. Least favorite was Bag of Bones. Pet Semetery was my favorite movie of his. So good 👍🏻
