@@BigAlsBBQ I got a cheap offset smoker recently so I've just been keeping it simple while I get the technique down and just doing some drumsticks. This'll be the first time using lumpwood though so I'm excited to see how it compares to briquettes

I really liked that you tipped the bags out as I always wonder what’s the charcoal like at the bottom of the bag. Did Webber reply to as it looked like rubbish. Love logs produce some incredible charcoal & it’s reasonably produced

Great review. Thanks! I'd like to see how Green Olive Firewood Company compares. I've been using the premium professional and I'd say it compares well to Globaltic.

Really great video, I found this super helpful. I haven't tried Big K before so will give a go. Looking at the other comments I would like to see how cue the BBQ does as I have used that before.

Fantastic review. Really good to see what's in the bag & I have had it before when you open a bag & it's trash, really annoying spending you hard earned dollar on rubbish. I would like to see you test Big Green Egg charcoal, that's amazing stuff & you get decent size chunks throughout the bag.

Great test, we've found the ACH15 by Big K and the Globaltic to be amongst the best too. IqGrills Quebracho Blanco is also fantastic with some seriously large chunks.

Great video! Keep up the good work. Looking for new charcoals now FOGON is no longer available in the UK. That was my go to charcoal for a long time.

There is 2 I would recommend you to try, 1 is carbo black and 2nd would be Afrique. They are Namibian charcoal, Both are available at Alfresco Chapel. Always good to compare various brands across the world

Globaltic or Cue the BBQ for me, I’ve had great results with both. I can easily pick up Globaltic 10 minutes from me so tend to use that more.

How much of the charcoal we use is from a source we just don’t know about. How much travels many miles in a fire suppressed container ship from unknown sources. Great comparison, will be doing far more research on the sources I buy from, just to try and do my little bit. To balance that, I now feel hypocritical as my preferred briquette is from Weber. Better start investigating that as well. Minefield opened!

It's such a shame as they produce some fantastic quality products but no charcoal it seems. I have reached out to them but no response so far 🥲

I had the same with Weber so called premium charcoal. A bag full of in usable dust. Garbage just like their grills. I would say that though as I am a PK grill man myself.
