I'm all about Kerastase! I actually like the fact that they still use sulfates. The sulfate free stuff just doesn't clean my hair and scalp well. I don't have color so that's not an issue.

With me, it's like shampoos with sulfates are too harsh for my scalp and shampoos without sulfates are too gentle so i'm kinda lost there 😂

Fantastic review! I might have put Serie expert in the holy grail but that’s about it. I do sometimes like though a drop of Moroccan oil on my hair after shampooing it. But your top two shampoos are the best in my opinion also by far. Great job!

I feel the same about Kevin Murphy but UGH I love how cute their packaging is. The shape, the color. Ugh. Looks SO cute in my shower. Im also surprised Redken was not on the list!

@@d-nise6364 I've heard about Redken a lot too and I've never heard any reviews on KZfaq about that products. I wanted to try their shampoo for oily hair. But I already bought L'Oréal Professionnel SERIE EXPERT Pure Resource Shampoo. Will see how it is going to work 🙃

@@daniella4889 yeah, I found different shampoo. But, as I mentioned above, L'Oréal shampoo arrived and I used it several times...this is a really strange shampoo, it did not suit my hair and scalp at all. Very heavy for my hair and scalp. After 2 times of using it, I immediately got dandruff 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️ And I don't like the smell of it...it's kind of masculine, I thought it might be for men or it might be a fake product, because the bottle didn't even have an expiration date on it. Well, I contacted a L'Oréal specialist to ask a few questions about my worries, and received an answer that the shampoo is original, and it normally has this strange scent, it will properly clean your hair and scalp from any products. But it's not for daily use and nor for sensitive scalp. So I was upset...Because I wanted to get rid of my problem. I decided to go to the salon and consult with hair specialists about the right shampoo for my oily scalp. She recommended me Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two for daily use. And I definitely see a big difference between these two shampoos. Paul Mitchell is the best choice for me. And I found some more shampoos - OGX teatree mint shampoo and OGX orchid oil (because I dyed my hair in a toner) it keeps color longer, they also clean very well 😊

Yeah, this suprised me too. I used to use it when I was regularly visiting a hairdresser, but I do my own hair now and Redken have discontinued my favourite products for curls.

I LOVE the video! Because sometimes it's hard to compare everything on the market, so this is really helpful. I tried Davines Oi conditioner but I think I have too coarse hair for it so wasn't nourishing enough, think I need Oi hair butter. I also don't like Morrocanoil oil. 😂 Would love your review of R+Co and Oribe! I think they are the best! 😊🧡

Gotta agree with the moroccan oil shampoo/conditioner review- pricey, smelled great but didnt really do anything 😞 Love the hoodie btw ☺️ Ive always wondered when u did ur own routine for ur hair, how many times did u change ur conditoner/shampoo in a week? Like how did u interchange it? Cause im planning to use the kerastase lait vital conditioner and the kerastase fondant renforcateur (genesis) conditioner with the kerastase bain divalent as shampoo... ive got dry hair with hair loss. But Im not sure how many times in a week I should use each conditioner. Help please! Tnx!

I used Nioxin for many years when I was having scalp issues & my hair was ultra fine & it was amazing. Now those issues have gone I’m free to try all these amazing hair care products available. My hubby jokes that our bathroom looks like a hair salon & definitely thinks I have a serious hair product obsession 😂😂. Btw, hats really suit you Mike 😊

I have been useing Kerastase for 20 yrs..when I tried Shu Uemura, thought, I felt in love with Urban Moisture line and that essence oil..OMG...😍😍😍

Mike, I’m using the matching Kerastase shampoo and conditioner. Should I also use the Kerastase leave in as well, or can I use another brand. I’m using the Croma ABSOLU for color hair. My stylist used the Kerastase Resistance Serum Therapiste. The shampoo and conditioner are sulfate free

I received a sample of Oribe from Bluemercury a high end cosmetic and beauty product store here in the US, so I assumed it was on the " professional" level. only used it once but wasn't that impressed. Mike, how many times should you use a product to be able to form an opinion regarding that product?

I experimented and used Aveda, Bumble and Bumble, and Morrocan oil. I have thick hair and need hydration. I would say Aveda was a great disappointment and I would not use again, Bumble was a does the job thingy, but Morrocanoil stood out by far... it made my hair soooo soft and shiny! Why do you hate it so much?? Each to their own, I guess. Thanks for the review!

I bought SerieExpert shampoo and conditioner. It's a nice shampoo with a nice smell and the conditioner is nice but doesn't detangle very well. I feel like they do the same thing as my Pantene volumising shampoo and conditioner. Can you talk about the benefits of the L'oréal products?

I wear my hair straight but I have curly, dry hair. When water hits it, it just mats up really bad! I always have a hard time finding a shampoo that once it hits my hair it just makes the texture smoother but not weigh it down. The Olaplex was a little too heavy in my opinion. Recently I bought Loma moisturizing shampoo and it’s alright. It doesn’t help with the texture of my hair though, it’s still matted up until I get it all conditioned and brushed out. Any suggestions? Help… lol

Hello, I got a quick question is this brand good for hair? - Inebrya (Ice Cream Balance), I was thinking about buying it, but I was also thinking about L’Oreal Pure Resource, Matrix total results amplyfing, Yves Rocher Purity. I have oily and sensitive skin on scalp, it’s sometimes itching (in past I used one shampoo and I got very bad allergy on it and it damaged my sculp😔). Plus my hair are very grease. I need help.🥺😭

Serieexpert Volumino mask is amazing! Nothing makes my hair silkier. I do also use Daveness Minu shampoo and conditioner. What about Oribe? Their Royal Blowout spray is so so good.

I HATE Olaplex. So damn over rated!!! The shampoo and conditioner made my hair fall so bad. I couldn't believe it was happening but by the third time, I had sooo much hair in the drain.

Briogeo scalp revival routine helped me a lot. You have to stick with it for a few weeks but it made a big difference

Here I can say 'lucky me' for wearing short hair... so my hair is always healthy. I had have used some of this brands, in my opinion the shampoos are so simular... not good and not this bad. Sometimes I use Baby shampoo and it's ok for me. But I use good strong styling products. I have a lot of it - so I can switch all day... The smell of all Shampoos is chemical... so I use a nice parfum and all things are ok. Please be patient for my poor English grammar...

I always hear great things about Moroccanoil, but it never did anything for my hair. I was so happy to hear your review. Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate and Kérastase Blond Absolu Masque Cicaextreme transformed my bleached hair, they are my holy water!

I love the MoroccanOil hair mask in the blue tub brown rim. When I tied their other products I was shocked how terrible they were. Especially the shampoo and conditioners.

Yeah I wasn't impressed with eleven! I was gifted a lot of their ranges five years ago and I absolutely love their miracle leave on conditioner, that was sooo amazing but their shampoo and conditioner was a different story my hair always felt dry and never looked good

Kerastase is my holy grail. Dont think redken belongs to the holy water section. Besides the all mega soft leave in product I havent repurchased any redken product I tried in the last years. I am curious about davines. never tried.thank you

Bed head/Tigi shampoos made my scalp SO sore. The only time in my life I have reacted to a shampoo. It felt so cheap and horrible to use. Redken and Kerastase are my favourites. Moroccan oil hydrating hair mask and the treatment oil are both good. Osmo is cheap and nasty, the No Yellow mask is good, but the rest is total trash.

Totally agree Aveda is overpriced but have to admit their Be Curly shampoo and conditioner as well as the Botanical Repair styling creme are staples in my bathroom. I think their Nutriplenish line is a joke. It’s all full of coconut oil just like any drugstore moisture or curly line and is priced just as high as their other lines. I think Davines today is what Aveda was in the 90s and early 00s. All Aveda’s formulations have changed since then for the worse in their legacy lines that had decades long loyal customers. It’s a bummer to see. Oh and while we’re at it, if we’re keeping it totally real Aveda is and has always been a perfumer first and that’s why they charge so much.

What no Goldwell? I tried Davines shampoo and it was like washing-up liquid to use. I then went to a different salon who did a Davines in-salon moisturising treatment on me, after-which the stylist declared: "It doesn't seem to have worked on your hair". So IMO it's utter rubbish from yet another one of these indy 'wannabe' brands who don't have the resources to do proper R&D. I've also tried a few Aveda products and they absolutely stink. It's all well-and-good aiming for an earthy vibe, but I don't want to smell like I work on a farmyard thanks!
