As someone who was interested in the brainwashed units , cuz it’s so weird that ponos just randomly started putting these guys out in gacha seasonals with almost no explanation, i like most of their TFs. The BW set as a whole kinda feels like ponos testing out some ideas with the basic cats but trying to shore their inate weaknesses. Course for most of them, Axe/Titan/Cow, the attempt fails since the base form is so bad.

I only tried to get brainwashed legs because I wanted a surge attacker, so I ended up accidentally getting the best brainwashed

I’d still argue that BW dark is the worst. BW lion as least has SOMETHING like removing poison from Mamon or removing KB from Okame. BW dark has 0 relevant stages where it performs better than the curseblast cannon as if you’re getting even a single BW dark into Henry’s/Croakly’s range to the point where they can get cursed, why not just put a rusher in their range instead?

I got myself brainwash titan cat at the beggining of the game, and it carried me through, have a big respect for it tho, still using it on future chapters, where it's still carrying at first 2 chapters, but gets mid in the middle of chapter 3 for the future

Brainwashed legs at level 30 has 7k to 8.75k DPS assuming the surge hits for a unit that has 350 range with a 28 second cooldown that only costs 600c... This is literally the Dasli of Super Rare cats, closest uber I can think of with similar niche would probably be Eyewaltz with 14k dps and 360 range but they have a 100 second CD and costs 3750c, Brainwashed legs basically gives you a similar kit (albeit with surge instead of wave) for 1/4th of the cost and cooldown...

Can confirm legs is cracked on dojo because the surge damages the base so multiple early waves spawn into the surge and die quickly

This is my personal ranking. 9. BW Lion: It's just equally bad just as like before TF, it should swap curse for weaken, which it would be decent. 8. BW Dark: While his mini-wave give him area attack, it's just lvl. 1 it can't reach Henry, Crockley, etc. It should gave him mini surge instead, with that, it would be good, and tripling his HP. 7. BW Eraser: While he has good HP against traitless, has a low base HP than his other variants, why? And also has 4 sec. cooldown, which is too long for his base HP, and it should keep the same cost like the other Eraser variants which is $150. 6. BW King Dragon: Has immunity to freeze and wave, but it still lacks of area attack or a ability like wave or surge to give him a pseudo-area attack. It's not like having area attack would make him too OP anyways. 5. BW Jameira: Now he has immunites, but PONOS forgot to fix the cost problem, but I put above BW King Dragon cause at least BW Jameira has area attack. 4. BW Flying: While he still has the low range and high ost problem, at least his massive damage slow to traitless enemies is vaulable, being a crowd controller and attacker hybrid is always good. 3. BW Island: Basically is equally good as Manic Island. 2. BW Mohawk: Finally a cheaper anti-relic meatshield in his TF. 1. BW Macho Legs: It's Manic Macho Legs but with surge, you can stack them, so you can make surge spam.

I would put brainwashed island at #1 IMO, it is like a spammable super rare version of balrog that gets rid of balrog’s biggest weakness(partially) due to being spammable, and getting to even higher dps against zombies, making it excellent against enemies like Daboo.
