3 was the first one I watched and it’s still my favorite.

The 1st movie had the best story. The 2nd had the best effects and gore. The 3rd had the best characters. The 4th was the goriest. The 5th had the most atmosphere and was the scariest.

I like how in the third they actually mention that people only hate rollercoasters because they have no control and then they insult her for being paranoid about it when people freak out over them everyday and end up fine but this is the one day it’s not fine

final destination 2 was my favourite just for that 2nd ending. Felt it embraced the campy nature of the films by adding in the cartoonish road runner death.

I had to come back to this video just for this comment I just re watched FD2 for the first time in like 10 years and holy shit did you guys hit the nail on the head when you said it felt like a parody to the first one. When final girl screamed “THE PIGEONSSSS” I lost it 😂. Felt like I was watching scary movie

Worst to best: 4 5 1 2 3 Come at me. Sorry, but 3 was hands down my favorite. Two cuts it kinda close, though, but I feel like it was kinda bogged down a little by the whole breaking the circle thing and the cheap cop out at the end with a new cycle starting just because of one kid getting saved. Like, no, you established the rules that life breaks any cycle or established plan death has. You can't just take that away in the same exact movie that the rule was established.

the pool drain one actually happened to a small child in a public pool, the movies portrayal is somewhat offensive because it came out just two years after this

I never heard nobody say they dislike Final Destination 2 I felt that's the truest sequel to the first I love the suspense and Clear returning and now there's a rule to beat Death in having a baby it is a good sequel in my humble opinion I don't have a favorite one love them all well not so much the fourth one I just like really pool death from the 4th movie but after 2 the franchise broke away really from the Flight 180 story.

Nice ranking :) Here’s mine! Best - Final Destination 3 has the best lead out of the entire franchise, with Alex as a close second. Some of the acting can be parody level bad, such as the twins, and nobody looks like they’re in high school. However Mary E.W is great at acting scared. The opening scene isn’t the best but I like how they tried to do something different (with 4 & 5 being car disasters reminding me of 2). When the method of trying to find the clues through pictures of how the characters die is introduced, it is one hell of a ride. The ending is the most emotional for me, with the three main characters being killed off (good set up too). Final destination is my next slot. The opening is very smart, however the film is a little cheap - feeling more like a 90’s film at times than a 2000’s film. The main actor also does a great job at acting, along with Clear rivers. Final Destination 2 has the best opening scene, with the build up being perfect. The problem I have with it is that there is little build up with atmosphere and there is so much dialogue, with the 90 minute film feeling like a 2 hours film. I like how it kept downer tone from the first one, with Final Destination 2 being a good sequel. Final Destination 5 isn’t my last one because of the cool deaths. The eye surgery and the gymnastics scene being one of the best deaths in the franchise. Apart from that, the movie isn’t that good; dialogue is sloppy, with romantic scenes or arguments crippling the film. The acting is great either, with the characters not being able to be sympathized with that much. The lead actor is the worst one in the franchise, he has just about one facial expression through out the entire film. The twist ending is a nice touch, arguably what saves it. The Final Destination is very mediocre. It was supposed to be THE final movie but clearly it wasn’t. I believe that the opening sequence in this one is the worst, with it being a car accident similar to the second one. The lead is at least confident but the rest of the cast seem to loose momentum as the film goes on.

FD 3's beginning was confusing as in the premonition, you did have the cause and effect. Frankie smuggles the handheld camcorder onto the Roller Coaster, I think Ashlyn or Ashley smacks it out of his hand and the camcorder strap gets caught onto the tracks of the Roller Coaster. And then all hell breaks loose. I know beforehand you see the wire on the track leaking fuel. But like I said, you have the "cause and effect". Not to mention Frankie Ashley and Ashlyn get off the ride, so it doesn't explain how the tracks would've came apart if the trio involved in the premonition. The Final Destination was so-so, didn't have the "strong" Character's as you had one guy, his girlfriend and their friends who seemed oblivious to the whole traumatic event. The main focus was making it 3-D and comically horrific. Last one was very great, nice "prequel" to the first film, I loved how they made a nod to the first film, where the Detectives insinuated that Alex Browning was probably causing people who survived the 180 Aircraft disaster to die. In the manner of discussing would death spare them if they killed someone, and Nathan(Arlen Escarpeta from Friday the 13th remake) got the news that the guy he "accidentally killed had a tumor and was bound to die in the following weeks. Final Destination 2 was worth the watch in the manner of it being the end of Clear Rivers and answering the questions about what happened to Alex Browning after the Sign hit Carter. Felt that they should've made at least someone in the pileup who knew Kimberly. Lastly, Final Destination is the best as it went on the idea of "What if" a Senior had a Nighmare that his fellow highschool classmates died in a plane crash, and was racked with the fear of death coming after them, one by one.
