Say what you want about Dream Team,but you can't deny it Dreamy Somnom Woods is such a masterpiece of a song

Somnom Woods is my favorite area in Dream Team but god it is home to the most annoying enemies. Beehoss especially, they attack if you hit them with a move that doesn't kill them and ignoring their actual turn they shoot bees at you.

I love somnom woods, gloomy woods, and toad wood forest so much, such great areas with amazing songs

Here's my thoughts on each area (from worst to best): Toadwood Forest - This would probably be higher if the Vim Factory counted as part of it, but I guess that's technically a completely different place. On it's own, it's nothing all that interesting and while I don't mind the moving platfroms all that much, I can completely understand why you dislike them. Dimble Wood - This one is overall a pretty bland, inoffensive forest area. Not much really happens story-wise. Bowser's merely going through it to reach his castle, and the bros are simply searching for attack pieces. The gameplay is pretty solid though. Gloomy Woods - I was originally going to put this lower since it feels like a pretty generic forest area, but you did make a pretty solid case for it in the video. Even though it doesn't stand out all that much, the atmosphere is pretty well done, especially during the second visit later in the game. Chucklehuck Woods - I actually think the atmosphere for this one is pretty solid, especially in the 3DS remake and it feels more unique compared to a lot of the other forest areas. I also enjoy the puzzles and Chuckolator boss fight. Somnom Woods - I think this is one of the absolute best areas in the entire series when it comes to atmosphere. It has this mystical feeling that I really like and the music just adds to that. The gameplay and structure are quite solid as well. You mentioned that you don't like then enemies in this area much, but didn't elaborate on that much. Just out of curiosity, what is it that you dislike about them? I personally don't have a problem with them.

Somnom woods, the best 100% Also Paper Jam's a complete second place as I love that area as well.

5: Chucklehuck Woods. You just... don't do much here. The bosses range from terrible to decent. The first visit is hard to form an opinion of... and the second visit is somehow even less memorable. 4: Dimble Wood. The first time through, it suffers from first world syndrome without really being the first world. It gives Bowser his first troop attack and it introduces the giant battles, so it has that going for it, but the battles here are below average, The revisit is more memorable with the weird sockop segment, I like that part a lot, but it's a very small part of the game. 3: Toadwood Forest. Unpopular opinion I guess, but I like this area. The puzzles feel diverse for an early game area, it's really good for an early game world. Vim Factory is obviously the better part of this world but there's really nothing I dislike in Toadwood Forest. The platforms could move a bit faster, but... 2: Gloomy Woods. They did really well with the theme in the forest, especially the spooky part of it with only Luigi. Agreeing with all you said, it's definitely the best area in Paper Jam... Wish I remembered any more of it. 1: Somnom Woods. No contest, I love this world. It has a distinct theme, beautiful design and soundtrack in this area. The puzzles here are also challenging in a fun way. Somnom Woods is very unique and by far the most memorable.

The Somnom Woods and the music for it was one of my favorite areas! Same thing with the forest area where Mario, Luigi, Baby Luigi, and Baby Mario enter in the Mario and Luigi: Partners In Time game! Same thing also goes for all the other forest areas in all the other games in the series too!

How has your channel not been recommended to me before!? I LOVE MARIO AND LUIGI! + My favorite creatures ever are the shroobs pretty good vid. I love toadwood cause of the asthetic but yeah fair point with the slow platforms

Chucklehuck Woods: I really have nothing to say about this one. 3. Gloomy Woods: The 2nd visit is cool but the 1st visit is meh. 2. Dimble Wood: I enjoy both visits to this world. 1. Gloomy Woods is definitely underrated and I enjoy the 3D vibe it gives off. DT doesn't do that and it is a shame. Overall I would put Gloomy Woods first because there is more to do there but somnom woods is a close second.

My Ranking 5. Toadwood Forest (PiT) What is there to say? First world syndrome, and those block platform puzzles that get reused in the game (a common theme of PiT level design that makes it suck) 4. Chucklehuck Woods (SS) Being real here, this place is fine, I definitely prefer when you visit the winkles but the first visit is fine too 3. Dimble Wood (BIS) Aside from the Gut Check Minigame, Grand. Especially when Mario and Luigi visit for the Attack Pieces. 2. Gloomy Woods (PJ) Definitely my favorite area from Paper Jam whether it’s the Beautiful music, feeding and fighting the Wiggler, or exploring the haunted area. 1. Somnom Woods (DT) Were you expecting anything else? This is the best area in any Mario RPG. The atmosphere, music, gameplay, story, and cutscenes are top notch. If only the Minigames and Zeekeeper fight didn’t exist…

Dude somnom woods is the best area in all of Mario and Luigi games in my opinion. Then I’d go with gloomy woods then the one bowser’s inside story. Then superstar saga’s and then partners in times. :D Edit: I made this before I saw the list and I realized we have the same opinion.

My personal ranking: 4- Toadwood Forest (i used to hate it, it was terrifying when i was a child) 3- Chucklehuck Woods (I like it, the Winkle Section is amazing, also Chuckolator is my favourite boss in Superstar Saga but... i think there are better Forests, the Main Area is too simple) 2- Dimble Woods (Amazing, it has various sections, all of them different and funny). 1- Somnom Woods (Amazing, the Best area in Dream Team, i love all of Somnom Woods).

Could you rank the Desert Areas? Like Dozing Sands, Teehee Valley, Gritzy Desert and probably you could count Bowser's Path in BIS, but it's more like a Dark Wasteland. I think the desert areas are the Best in ML series

Gloomy woods is honestly my personal favorite, mostly because paper jam was my first Nintendo game ever. But I still entirely agree with your opinion about it.

Hear me out I’ve Made it very clear I hate somnom woods it’s probably one of the most annoying areas in a Mario RPG the enemies are annoying I hate the mini game the piece and collecting thing drags on but I will admit I do love pillodium

Love your videos but since all your videos are about the Mario RPGs and you’ve already made a lot of videos for each game so I wonder when you’re gonna run out of ideas. Like I said I love your videos but I just feel like you can only make so many videos about 11 games

Algorithm boost

Again, i'm going to put this separately. In my opinion, the forest areas just got worse as the series moved on. Let's start with SSS. I like the Golden Beanies, they give you a gear for you to sell and get money. I like the abilities, especially "Mole Luigi"(is that the real name for it? I think so.). The Wiggler fight and the Chuckolator fight are, once again, in the middle, same deal with the Popple fights(honestly, all of the Popple fights are neutral, but they get some points because of the music.), and the Snail minigame isn't too bad, unlike other minigames this game has. After that, it comes PinT's forest area! And when i think of this area, i think about the enemies. And that's it! In Vim Factory, i think about the Hammer Bros fight and the Swiggler fight, so, it's more memorable than the forest. Obviously, i like the Baby Drill, but i don't think as much about it. And then there's BIS' Dimble Wood. Let's start with the normal enemies. I like them more than the enemies in Cavi Cape and Plack Beach. My only problem with them is that Trashure can run away like a coward. Then there's the Arm Center Pulling the Giga Carrot Edition, which i think is annoying. The Pulling the Stone Wiggler Edition is fine, but when Bowser tries to pull the Giga Carrot, it's just trash! Ure.(😄 Sorry if you thought that pun was annoying. I know a lot of Amateur Jokers out there, and i want to be better than them, by apologizing.) Speaking of Wigglers, i hate the Wiggler in this game.(as a boss) Not sure if he/it is still my least favorite normal boss in this game, i have to beat this game a 2nd time, but, yeah. Not to mention the Goomba Storm, which is impossible to get an Excellent on, so, i don't use it, and instead, i use the Shy Guy Squad. And let's not forget the Rump Command, which is also annoying as hell.(sigh I wonder if this is going to turn into my least favorite M and L game. It can, but i hope it won't.) I hope Somnom Woods and Gloomy Woods are better than these.(i hope that i end up liking them, because, as you already know, i didn't play the 3DS games yet.
