Having mustered the courage, Tony leads us through the incredibly powerful, yet vastly underrated NBRQ catalog. Absolutely one of THE most underrated bands, tony also includes the TA catalog given that it was the backbone for the TA quartet, which bridged the gap between NRBQ's two eras. Absolutely one of the greatest live bands to ever appear on any stage. You are a fool if they are playing near you and you miss the opportunity. NRBQ/TA is a national treasure. I've seen a lot of rock concerts but the best five I ever saw was NRBQ, late 70's through the eighties in SanFrancisco in small clubs and auditoriums. Terry, Al ,Joey and Tommy just blowing the roof off the place. I remember coming out of the Warfield hearing somebody say "Al Anderson was God". I.agree. It's a criminal oversight that they are not in the Rock and Roll hall of fame.

One of the weird things about the record business is the cut out bin, which is where you would have found Live at Yankee Stadium, one of the greatest records ever made and certainly on my top 10 list. Someone at Mercury must have loved this record cause they made a lot of them but they did not sell well and ended up on the cut out lists where we could buy em for a buck and sell em for 299. The only problem was when you got someone to buy it and they would come back in lookin for something just as good and cheap and it did not exist. Great job with the retrospective, Bobby Rencher former owner of Phantasmagoria....
