Enrique is a much different manager to Mourinho and Conte. They are all winners as history has shown, Conte and Mourinho are defensive managers who both succeeded with depending on their defence and counter. Enrique is a tactician, he likes possessive and passing, which makes him a different pedigree that spurs would need. I'm not saying he will win anything in comparison, but if you want a different style of play, with a winning attitude, Enrique is the guy imo.

Just shows how few decent managers there are, the same ones, sacked (usually by Chelsea😄) then turn up elsewhere, then likely sacked again. For me the only decent managers in recent years have been Carlo, Klopp, Pep and Flick. The rest have had a good year or two somewhere then it's gone wrong. Lampard and Gerrard were meant to be the 'new breed' of top managers but both poor. Kompany for some reason I think will be good though.

I am a bayernfan and still in shock. The sacking of Julian was absolutely unnecessary. Spurs need a manager that's ready for a long term project, hungry to win, Levy needs to be an owner who have to stop looking at short term goals, winning (anything) with high profile names. Mourinho and Conte were never going to be there to bring in young players and build a team to win in 2-3 4-5 years. United made the same mistakes, brought in experience high profile managers along with high profile players, and it didn't work. Ten Haag is a manager who is building a team to win in the next 2-3 years. Same with Arteta, Arsenal finally made a decision to give a young manager a chance with long term goals, and wait for success. Tottenham needs a young hungry manager, and yes Nagelsmann should be top of the list, but I would put Kompany and Mason up there as well. Ultimately, Spurs need a huge clear out, and Levy have to be on board with that. You can't still have players like Lloris, Sanchez, Lucas, Davies, Bentancur, Perisic, Dier, old dogs can't learn new tricks. They need a manager to bring Sonny back to form, he's so important to the club, and Conte just not doing anything with him.

I’m a spurs fan and I do want enrique. I’m not even crediting him for his track record of winning things. But the football that his team played was wonderful to watch. And I strongly believe he can work with a limited budget with spurs bringing in some promising players from Spain and south america.
