Weird there’s no chat about tactics. Enrique is a very strict system manager, traditionally with a 433 which brings questions like where does nkunku/felix play? His positional style of play would take time and maybe even more transfers to work. Narglesmenn however likes a back 3 which continues what Chelsea have now, he’s also very flexible so it might take less time. Chelsea has been missing any kind of press this season and Nargelsmann’s teams have always pressed well. Would Enrique’s possession football be able to compete with Pep and Arteta given how similar it would be and they have a head start. Nargelsmann’s football is quite different. I’m personally torn between the two Enrique’s football would be exciting and great to watch but Nargelsmann is more unique and could create something special.

Chelsea needs a manager that knows how to break buses, because whenever we play a team they know they will play counter attack and park the bus until these chances come. Which makes it harder for us to score. That's why most of our goals are from our defenders. The fact we don't finish our chances is because when that chance comes it feels like they are not prepared for it. because of how tight the shooting areas are.

People seem to highly underestimate pochettino and severely overrate zidane. Pochettino was working wonders with very minimal investment, got spurs involved in 2 title races. Came 2nd to a record breaking cheslea team at the time (city centurions destroyed all the records the very next season). Played a phenomenal balance between great offensive style with extremely solid at the back. If poch does that job with any other team whos not one of the big boys…people are praising him to the hills (and no spurs are not a big boy lets be real people). Conte and mourinho who are serial winners also won bugger all at spurs and couldn’t even replicate the job that poch did. The chelsea squad has a great youth which poch has a track record of developing at espanyol, Southampton and at tottenham. To those who say he failed at psg….who hasnt failed at psg? Be serious folks. Poch is probably the best choice for this current Chelsea squad. While zidane has achieved one of the greatest feats in managerial history with the three-peat…he also had one of the greatest squads in the history of football. Zidane is a great man manager, who will command respect from almost everyone but tactically inept. If this Chelsea team had ready made superstars, it wouldn’t be a bad idea at all. But this young team needs major coaching and development guys like zidane dont have that in their locker. This chelsea team would barely improve with him at the helm. Enrique, nagelsmann, amorim, arne slot and de zerbi would also be very good choices for Chelsea. But personally I think pochettino is the most equipped for this chelsea squad and this league. But people floating names like zidane and ancelotti, those guys are not great tacticians but rather phenomenal man managers who thrive with ready made squads. Conte and mourinho while I love them, their style is slowly dying and it shows across europe….simeone has had to evolve slightly to improve results, mourinho is doing an adequate job with roma but the football is awful, conte performed horribly with spurs this season (performed even lower than that joke of a club should have been) juve under allegri have struggled to assert themselves in games with their ultra defensive style. The game is about progressive football these days, it favours flexible tacticians who can change games and setups from the sideline to assert dominance and effectiveness on the ball.

While there were some good points I feel that this whole discussion skipped the important bits that are actually under consideration.

The Frank appointment is a bad move, reminds me of Solskjær. If he does better than expected (which isn't difficult) there will be calls for him to be permanent. The rose tinted glasses effect is too much, he needs to prove himself elsewhere first
