Great selection. My current favorite ME fragrance is Grise, by Maison Alhambra. Supposed to be a dupe of Gris by Dior (haven’t put my nose on that one). It smells so good and is sooo affordable too. I’m definitely going to look into Khaltat Night by Attar Collection after this. I had read somewhere that it’s in the same family as Oajan by PDM. Thank you for this!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Lattafa Khamrah. It's great on a cold day. It smells somewhat similar to Lush Turmeric Latte. I also LOVE Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud. It projects really well. I had it on one day and went back into a room I had been in about 2 hours earlier, and I could smell it in there. That was interesting. It also told me not to have a heavy hand with it. And Armaf Club de Nuit Imperiale is a 5 for me! I have gotten soooo many compliments when I wear it but I have also had a heavy hand when putting it on and I regret that because now it embarrasses me that I did that. But it's sooooooo good! This was a great video! Thanks for sharing it!! ♥♥♥

Most of the bottles look like intricate works of art 🥰 Not entirely sure but from what I read online, ME fragrances are not as expensive because they use ingredients that are made and sold domestically. Oud, for example is very common in Arab countries and widely used in their culture.

Best descriptions I’ve heard on the Junoon scents. I’m very interested now. Was the difference from Dana Bianca that it wasn’t as Smokey? That’s what I couldn’t get over with Dama Bianca.

I have quite a few of the ones you mentioned. My SOTD today is Swiss Arabian Amber and Apricot. It is delicious. I love it.

Big fan of Capucci's Evento Uomo as an Aventus alternative if you ever find it. More of a mix of Aventus and Cedrat Boise, but fruity, balanced and like half the price of the middle eastern clones. Impossible to overspray too since it's not a screamer. Always love these impressions vids! ❤

My Shagaf oud has mancerated for 3 years now and it smells better and richer. There are more middle eastern fragrances which are really good such as khadlaj, al wataniah, ahmed al maghribi. Lattafa also got good ones but you need to let it sit and mancerate - vintage radio, musamam intense, ajayeb dubai and leen.

I have the Paris Corner Pistachio Khair and Lataffa Ansaam Gold. I really enjoy both of them for the price.

I have the OG Junoon and it is very powdery, so it seems all of the Junoon’s are powdery. I like it, but I have to be in the right mood. I have Khamrah Qahwa, and enjoy it. I would give it a 7 for smell, and 8 for silage and longevity. Most middle eastern fragrances have this kind of sickly sweet undercurrent that I honestly don’t like. I am not sure what it is, but it smells like sweet, fresh tobacco. Not a fan of that smell. My favorites are Rifaaqat by Paris Corner and Affection (Yum Pistachio dupe) by Lattafa. I might pick up Rare Tiffany.

I have Khulasat Al Oud and Oud Patchouli, both fragrances from AlHaramain........... awesome and great fragrances for men.

Hi sweet Yana and hubby! I happen to be wearing the Lattafa Yara Moi today. I sprayed it on right after my shower. It's so nice, and perfect for transitioning into Spring. It's light and airy. Oh no, I'm boring. 😅 I also had a body oil with Santal in it, and together, it smelled great. Not a long lasting scent. Thanks. I'm going to check out some of the other scents you mentioned. ❤❤

Khamrah has so little in common to Angel.s share. La Fede Intoxicated is 95% Angel's Share. Khamrah Qahwa is the real thing. Amouage Rouge is very good...but is hard to belive people still buy BR 540 clones. Or Delina. From the Shaghaf line The Shaghaf oud azraq (man)...I like it a lot. And the original Shaghaf for women...that's an excelent spring, summer fragrance. The Yara line...hmm...you can skip the line. But here, in Eastern Europe...influencers have been talking about those fragrances for probably a year. And I see them now all over US and Canada. A year later. Khamrah was voted best middle eastern scent in 2023 on Fragrantica. We have be moving on to Khadlaj, Ahmed al Magribi brands. Their fragrances are real high quality.

I love MD perfumes I have a couple and wow

The perfumes from the Middle East are made from oils, hence why they last longer than western perfumes. Therefore, they should only be sprayed lightly. We get about 3 times the concentration of Western perfumes in Middle Eastern perfumes. If you want a more western take on a Middle Eastern perfume, then add isopropyl alcohol/ethanol to a bottle halfway, then spray in your Middle Eastern perfume to fill or Spray 1/3 less sprays. Western perfumes are mostly alcohol based, hence why we need to spray a lot of it for the same effects. The reason why we need to spray out the nozzle before using perfume from Middle East is because during travel the alcohol and other ingredients in perfume diffuse up the straw and most of the oils do not hence the difference in smells and why maceration improves performance. Middle Eastern perfumes are not cheap. USD $30 is a lot of money in their region to pay for a perfume and because of the dollar conversion it seems like it's so little money for those in the West. We are confusing the low cost of Middle Eastern perfumes with them using cheaper materials from the Western perfumes. They are not. The reason why niche and celebrity/ designer perfumes cost a lot is to allow those companies to pay for advertising and to make a profit, so we are actually most times paying more money for less. That's not to say that all Middle Eastern perfumes are fantastic. However, their packaging and bottles are incredible and designer houses and celebrity would have charged $100s if they had those packaging Perfumes is a part of the culture in most Middle Eastern countries, and they invest heavily in the creation. Plus, like most people sing a Whitney Houston song at auditions to prove they can sing, some Middle Eastern perfume houses replicate popular perfumes to gain reputation before they try to branch out on their own.

Right now I’m enjoying Khair Pistachio by Paris Corner and I do feel the longevity is better than Kayali’s Yum Pistachio and it’s a very good dupe. I really enjoy Nebras by Lattafa too. Thanks for diving into Middle Eastern options. It's difficult to justify designer prices when being so let down with their quality
