Achievement-wise DMC4 is the hardest, overall difficult DMC game: DMC3. The fact that they didn’t require you to double S rank every difficulty in DMC3 and DMC1 even (not mentioning DMC2 because rank system i broken) makes platinum DMC HD Collection not even hard.

I remember when I finally beat DMD on DMC3 and I swear I couldn't have done it without the very hard super skin unlock

You can make DMC4SE Platinum, significantly easier by playing as Trish/Lady on S rank DMD run. You can also cheese the entire Dante missions in DMC5 using Faust Hat and still got s S rank from no damage bonus

Congrats bro feels good to complete a devil may cry challenge. I've got all trophies and achievements on every devil may cry both xbox 360 xbox one and then again on ps3 ps4 and ps5 it was hell but my love for devil may cry kept me going I then s ranked every devil may cry mission on every difficulty. Yeah even dmc2 games even more of a mess then most realise. I even did the reboot. I then ran through dmc1 4 5 and the reboot dante must die without taking a single hit. I however cannot seem to ss dmc3 definitely the hardest in the series never going to give up bro. Love the channel keep up the great work.

Today, i'm proud to say that I FINALLY PLATINUMED DMC4SE. This is not a joke. I finally platinumed the hardest dmc on the series.

I've 100%ed DMC5 already and I'm currently trying to do the same with 4. Thus far, all I've done is get all S ranks on Human, Devil Hunter, and Son of Sparda across all three routes. Currently doing DMD as Nero and Dante.

I beat the brakes off of 3 on the switch. Each mode, both characters. Bloody palace with both, it was great, but no achievements. I still till this day haven’t got the platinum in 4 on ps but have at least 200hrs. I did however platinum 5 and that was such a fantastic achievement. Love the series, im working on 100% in DmC reboot now and the more I play it the more I love it (obviously you need to not compare it to the rest in terms of story) but gameplay wise I’ve had fun all the way through!

I’m still working on the dmc5 platinum (it’s me croftify if anyone remembers lol) and fr hell and hell mode is just pain I’m stuck at mission 10 and in general I struggle with all Dante missions. I’ve been working on this platinum for like 4 months or something and it still feels like it’s gonna take forever ugh but I don‘t want to give up since it also doesn’t seem to be too far away and I’m doing this platinum for personal reasons so it means a lot to me and yes there are times where I felt like giving up but I really wanna do it, no matter how long it takes.

I already got the platinum for DMC1 and after finishing it I swore to never touch a DMC game again. But I rarely listen to my past self, so in a bored moment I decided to plat the rest of the series. After watching this, I decided that "series" means 1,2,3 and 5. I only got so much time in my life. I am not gonna waste it on DMC4 when that is what they think a trophy list should look like.

Devil may cry 1 indeed is the hardest. DMD mode in that game is fucking nuts, every enemy can eat your attacks like candy.

still cant believe that psnprofiles rates dmc4 as an 8/10 because holy waters exist. like hello have you not seen all the requirements for the trophies? u can't even spam items when going for the S-ranks or the bloody palace. u literally have to master the game with all characters and it has the most clutch timings out of all the game. 11/10 platinum difficulty for me

Using items in dmc 3 is 100% justified because in dmd if you mess up once you will get stuck in one of Vergil’s combos and then you might as well restart because half your health is gone. Same goes for Beowulf but that’s more 1 hit does a hellish amount of damage so easier to avoid.

I decided to try and get all achievements for 4 and 5, 2 achievements left in 4 and 3 HaH V missions on 5. I remember now why I gave it up my first time through. I despise V on DMD and HaH. He's fine on the lower difficulties, but so out of balance for the higher difficulties,

out of every dmc I played, I found that simply getting S ranks on missions, Dmc2 was the absolute hardest. i could not understand the ranking for style. damage was EXTREMELY unfair. (you could lose like an inch of health and get a C score), the highest i could get, trying my best. was an A rank. if you took damage and/or didn't farm style ranks (but getting Showtime, then dropping it on purpose to build it up) you would not S rank. Dmc3 i would say is the second hardest. because the restrictions were still strict but it felt way more possible and was just a skill issue. dmc1 is next, kinda hard, but if you know what to do and where to go, you'll get it. the rank is mostly about speed more than anything. Dmc4 is definitely the easiest. (with the exception of mission 14, fuck that mission and its ranking requirements) style points are easy to get, speed skill pretty much ensures you'll always get S in time, Orbs were easy to get an A in at the very least. and the game was lenient in giving time to grab them. plus you always would get a no item bonus as even on DMD the game isn't That hard. I'm not sure where i would place DMC5 on my list, I was a completionist, and irl stuff was coming up in the way, so. . .I cheated through most of it. but I managed to S rank human through SOS fairly well except for mission 10 (fuck that mission and its requirements) I S ranked all of dmc1 and 4 on every difficulty, before the ps4 existed, dmc3 I got a lot of S ranks, few SS's but it was too tedious to do every mission, and Dmc2 i think maybe 1 or 2 missions across the entire game i got an S ranks.

That DMC4 SE no damage for Dante stuck out to me. Honestly I probably should have looked at using a mod to skip the first 100 floors. Otherwise DMC5 Hell and hell on missions 10, 12 and 18 stuck out to me too.

DMC4 base game is very fun to play casually, but the platinum is so difficult to the point where you start hating the game.

Got the platinum for DMC1, DMC2, DMC3, and DMC5. Don't think I'll ever get the platinum for DMC4. Maybe would have if there was a full video guide or something but no chance without it and it's also way more time consuming.

Only ones I was able to platinum was dmc3 n Dmc reboot I tried platinuming all of em but the rest r just to hard to platinum n after several attempts I just gave up I’m good but not that good only way I could do it is if I found a way to cheat or have someone else do it for me but those would defeat the purpose so unfortunately I’ll never platinum all the games

You actually need to S rank all missions in LDK for DMC4 as well bro so that's 100 missions you have to S rank plus S rank a playthrough in the bloody palace so yeah not easy but not impossible but a well rewarding platinum that is

5 years ago i would have platinum all of them. I just had it on my list long time. Now i already finished DMC1 and fxcked it. I'm just gonna finish it all of them so i can just play DMC5 SE on my ps5 and enjoy the damn game, maybe try plat that game. I not as fast as i used to be (i played a lot DMC3 back in my ps2), but now man, lack of time and lack of actually patience to handle cheesy or tricky boss fights..... Some parts on DMC1 with that stupid bird or the black mass (worst boss) make me wonder why on earth i should beat that game twice, the last one with DMD. I'm finding DMC5 harder than DMC4. I've done both versions of DMC4 1000/1000 and the platinum. Where DMC5 gets me is the stricter scoring on some of the stages and using V on HaH mode. I've not platinumed/S ranked it T_T

Definitely, well, all of them in a ways, tho 3 was, for me atleast, the easiest. DMC1 had the "I read you like an open book" trophy and the DMD trophy. DMC2 was just boring to platinum, thank god for the unlimited DT Trish, or else I wouldn't have even bothered with the BP, other than that, it was pretty straight, boring, but straight DMC3 kicked my ass the first time around (and remember, I felt pretty good after platinuming 1 and 2.) But what makes the 3 trophy rather easy is, that you can spam items and use super costumes. I only ended up using super costumes, cuz nobody likes item spamming. But even with the super costume, some rooms, like the Enigma room were a bitch. I actually enjoyed that one the most, simply because you dont need to s-rank ALL difficulties which just gets annoying after a while. (I'm talking to you DMC4.) DMC4 hardest part wasn't even S-Ranking every mission on every difficulty, tho the Dante missions, especially the jungle missions were a pain in the ass. The hardest part about 100% the game was the damn Bloody Palace, seriously, never again. It wasn't really a problem with the boys, for Dante, I just used super costume cuz fuck the BP in 4. But the real fun began with the ladies. Seriously, dying to some random BS all the time and having to go though the whole BP again almost made me give up. Never again. Also, SSS ranking every boss was just plain annoying. Especially SANCTUS. Seriously, never again. For DMC5, this one is in the making, haven't touched HOH and DMD because I bought the game only a few days ago. So far, it's pretty straight forward, no having to SSS rank bosses like the fucking saviour. No having to beat the final BP boss hitless (which means doing it all over again once you did, had to do the palace 5 times alone because of this.) And no more collecting stupid orbs. The only real issues are mission 10 and 18, seriously for now (tho I'm really bot looking forward to Srank HOH.), I cheesed them with Faust in the end after trying it for nearly 2 days. Thank god for the Faust.

I just need DMC2 PS3 Platin... the PS4 version already hurt me too much

Not that I want to complain, but the title implies that you S Ranked all missions, while you actually talks about getting Platinum trophies, which is a completely different subject. For instance, DMC 2 and 3 are the hardest to S/SS Rank all missions in all difficulties, while DMC 4 is the easiest. On the other hand, DMC 4 SE is the hardest to get all trophies.

😐Totally not scared of platinuming dmc 4 now which im currently doing... 😨. Ps: i platinumed 3, doing 4, will do 5 and i have just one trophy to clean up ( all enemy file entries) for dmc 1 which i will do at the end of all this.

The only platinum I've got is the one for DMC3. I tried to get the one for DMC4:SE and began contemplating suicide trying to SSS every boss, so I called it quits when DMC5 was released lol. DMC1 & 2 are too dated for me to play now and V's gameplay in DMC5 sucks so bad in my opinion, I refuse to play him more than is required. So I guess I'm just stuck with DMC3 for now.

DMC2 is the hardest S rank on DMD no questions. While DMD itself is way too easy, the style system is absolutely stupid. Not including DMC2 because it's garbage. DMC3 SS rank is brutal. Everything after that has been made significantly more lenient and achievable. Basically if you get good enough to beat DMD in 4 and 5 without items it won't take you long to get to a level where you can S rank them too. OH by S rank you mean platinum on psnprofiles? Meh...
