Scary godmother is a film with pretty outdated cgi graphics but thats part of the charm of why we love it

My favorite Halloween Special is "The Halloween that Almost Wasn't", where Dracula and the Queen of the Witches have a power struggle, and she threatens to quit, and thereby cancel Halloween forever if she's not given equal authority and merchandise revenue as Dracula. It is just so silly, and Judd Hirsch as Dracula is just conceptually hilarious.

In an dark mirror of our Earth, humanity’s numbness and carelessness towards their own impending destruction renders them blind to the imminent threat of a literal alien invader. Their only savior is, ironically, a mere 12 year old conspiracy theorist black sheep, which epitomizes how insurgent yet helpless a lot of us feel at an age when no one takes us seriously, especially the marginalized (a premise which fit especially well back in the cultural land escape of the early 2000s, when the goth scene and counterculture was still thriving).

Also while watching I had the thought you should do lore on Monster High, Ever After High, Strawberry Shortcake, or Care Bears. Probably not the new ones that are going on but the old ones would be neat.

Invader Zim is just like that. There's an episode where Zim turns Dib into bologna, and there's an episode where the worst thing in the world is just a blank room with a moose. It's very 2000s 'randem xD' at times but it's also weirdly freaky at times (looking at you, dark harvest) and I love it, but if you don't, I get it.

I've never seen the Scary GodMothers, they got blasted by reviewers back in the day and it seems like it';s just liked cuz it was spammed every year aka Grandma Got Run over by a reindeer lol. As a HUGE invader zim fan, it's totally fine not to get it. It's definitely something that's hard to get into espeically if the obsession didn't start when you were young. I will say that the newer stuff is better, like the movie and the comics. The show is more of an... acquired taste, but I adore it and it's humor so much.

Ngl, Saturdays are now becoming a highlight of my week, and these hilarious uploads are partly the reason why.

Man I watch the good old Treehouse of Terror episodes a lot it's my favorite kind of series of Halloween specials lol. And the classical Scooby Doo movies and specials are spooky and good.

Personally, I kinda liked the laid back nature of the first Scary Godmother- when it focused on Hannah and her getting to know the monsters. It felt like A Muppet Family Christmas meets Hotel Transylvania. When it focused on the other kids, it was kinda boring, with too many Family Guy "a joke goes on for a minute" moments. But I do love hiw the stakes are a lot higher this time around, as it makes sense for a sequel.

Phantom of the megaplex was my fav Disney halloween movie, aside from the entire Halloweentown saga. Such a freaky movie as a kid. I was actually afraid to go to the movies alone until i was 12, because i watched this movie when i was 4 and it scared me. But i still watch every year.

In the SpongeBob stop motion where plankton talks about being in SpongeBob’s brain was a nod to the movie sponge out of water. Where plankton went inside his brain to find the formula. Instead, he found his brain was filled with sweet and wholesome images. I loved that extra detail soooo much!
