Geez $30. Not to brag, but here in Canada we don't get charged for Med Dr. appointments. Some medications are free, some are co-paid with Government. When i had a Kidney Stone: 15 Morphine pills (painkiller) was FREE & 15 Pills to enlarge my kidney & urinary track to help pass the stone (co-paid w/ government) cost me $8.00.

Lucky here in England, we get free prescriptions once you turn 60.

If you pay with a credit card you can "dispute" the charge and get your money back. I apologize if someone already suggested this.

Sorry to hear about this mess. I get a 90 day supply of a medicine and they always put all the pills in 1 bottle, that would solve all these problems. You said it at the end, the pa was at fault and the drs office should make good by giving you 2 visits with no co payments collected!

That happened to a family member of mine the Dr office writes a 3 month Rx tthey only wrote 2 months they did call in the other bottle and the family member didnt have to pay extra but did pay for 3 months like you. I hope you get it resolved quickly.

The same thing happened to me, one time and when I ran out of pills in 60 days, the insurance said they wouldn't pay because I hadn't used my complete 90 day supply.So I had to jump through hoops to get my medicine and I ran out for two days.

Go to the actual doctor's office and tell them to give you a month's worth of samples.

As a person who works in a pharmacy I can safely say that’s just how insurance works. Most patients end up paying the same for 2 months and 3 months. There really is nothing the pharmacy can do seeing as the doctor’s office already prescribed the initial 2 months. So basically there’s no reason to get 2 months ever. There is nothing you can do about this. There’s no reason to get upset at the pharmacy for a mistake caused by a doctor’s assistant. The real scam is ultimately going to be your insurance.

So sorry to hear about this. It looks like no one WANTED to do anything about it, because no one wants to admit fault. To correct the situation, they would have had to put in writing that they messed up, and these days everyone wants to blame everything on someone else. I guess you had the right instinct to think, "maybe I'd better open the bag." You're right in what you've said in a number of other rant videos, that incompetency has become the norm.

Wait until you get on Medicare, that’s when the fun starts.

It is absolutely insane the incompitance in the health care industry and then at the end they try to say it is your fault because you did not look inside the bag before you paid the money. You should not have to if they were paying attention and not looking at ther cell phone every 5 seconds. It is totally their fault, and Tes, I agree they should reimburse you or give you another bottle. You can't make this stuff up

I was thinking the same. Get a prescription for one month. Rip off .maybe time to get a new doctor. 😢 poor business. 2 hours wasted and bp goes up plus you can't trust them now. Hey Joe... I carefully listened to you in this vid but I can't make heads or tails out of it, it's nonsensical. I can't figure out why you're still being charged the full amount especially when the error was because of the doctor's office. I wish I had some words of wisdom for you but I dumbfounded on this one!

Is there an official process that covers this eventuality- Ask your doctor or whoever the top person is what the process is when this happens or how can they stop this from happening again- just a suggestion 😢
