Moonchikd is one of those songs where if IYKYK It's more of a feeling than an actual definition A moon child is sort of someone with a darker or moody soul. A night child who feels better in the darkness but like not in a depressing way. Sort of in a you are not alone way

Greetings, Upon hearing this song, I felt an immediate sense of recognition and understanding-a rare occurrence for individuals like me, who often navigate through a world filled with one-way streets. I'm hesitant to confine the essence of being a moonchild to a single definition, but I'd like to share my interpretation. A moonchild, to me, is someone with a poetic soul. They possess the ability to comprehend and empathize with everyone, yet find themselves seldom understood. Hence, the notion that "we're born to be sad, [we] suffer to be glad." Moonchildren are self-healers, but their pain intensifies as the world becomes more devoid of love. Their suffering mirrors that of the world's afflictions. Often nocturnal, they tend to be night owls. In my perspective, the moon serves as a metaphor for outsiders, loners, and seers. While some may label moonchildren as "super empaths," such a term doesn't entirely capture the depth of their souls. I hold great admiration for RM, a moonchild far superior to my own understanding and embodiment of the term.
