Love the reaction! 💜🫰 I love how they do those practical special effects, like the hat trick. They do something similar in the Grammy show performance of Butter, but with playing cards. If you watch it, they had very little time to practice because two members were isolated until nearly the last minute because of Covid. Jin is not participating in most of the performance because he injured his hand. I think he joins towards the end. Because of copyright issues, you might have trouble posting a reaction, but you should still watch it. If you like dancing you should watch a couple of Jimin solos. My suggestions are Filter and Lie. Neither have a mv to my knowledge, so you'll have to watch a live performance, but they are great. I don't want to spoil anything, but, from my understanding, the Filter performance was live, so the special effect was a practical effect, not editing.

I think the most tatted is JK then Jimin. I believe the others only have a number 7 representing their brotherhood but that’s it. Our hardcore rappers only have a 7 and no other tats lol

The only BTS members who have multiple tattoos are Jimin and Jungkook. The other 5 members only have one: the friendship tattoo they all got. It is a small number 7 that everyone has in a different part of their body.

I just got here and wanted to say that it's very gratifying watching you let even just the visuals of Amygdala hit you before you dig in on the lyrics. It's not a bad way to approach Yoongi's work - he's usually telling several layers of story and taking it in multiple times is a big part of appreciating him. This video is the most realistic portrayal of depression I've seen. I can't watch reactors who don't take it seriously. It's too personal and too real. Yoongi uses his personal experiences to connect with us through art... That's his strength as a lyricist, staying raw and close to his own feelings. It's a door held open to those of us who have felt anything like it, which is so many of us. I'm so glad he walked through the door. He's much happier and healthier these days - he says so himself - and I'm just glad we were able to walk alongside him through the hard times. This video is *hard* to watch, but as a person who has survived similar things, with loved ones who didn't, it's never triggering or unsafe for me. It's honest, and despite the challenge he never gives up. He didn't get to the door but he didn't stop trying. Even when he collapsed. For me, that's a kind of hope. This song is a genuine work of art in so many ways. I think it's honestly perfect. If you want a treat and another glimpse into Suga - look up a live performance of First Love. It's an old one, a solo BTS piece, and it's beautiful. It's about his first love, and, as he put it later, his only childhood friend - a piano. I would love to watch you watch First Love. It's short, and gentler than Amygdala, but just as honest and passionate.

Their name is fake French with the Korean double S :) it's an anagram and it's a kind of angel. You said it correctly. Their fandom name is FEARNOT and they play with the angel imagery sometimes. They're a pretty new group, just barely not rookies anymore, but they've had a good bit of success. I don't follow a lot of girl groups but I like them a lot. They're a blast in lives and on variety shows. 😂 Quite outspoken young women. I'm looking forward to seeing how they continue to grow and develop. I'm with you on the aesthetic of this video being a callback to 90s R&B. The dance is definitely super groove-based. I like this dance live... For videos, I really like their previous comeback, Unforgiven. Their stuff is catchy and somewhat poppier than I'm usually drawn to but they work really hard to make it look easy, it's not a lie 😁 The ballet line is because one of them was a ballet dancer from age 3 or so, before she became an idol. It's referenced in a lot of their songs. Another one trained as an opera singer. If you're going to check out one more song... maybe Unforgiven or Antifragile? The messages are about strength and resilience more than anything. I'm trying to get my daughter into them just for that 😂

Re: their synchronization while dancing, when they were training their performance director would pause the monitor video randomly and check that they were in sync frame by frame. Even they eyes 😂 over the years they actually loosened up on it some but they still dance like one soul in seven bodies 💜

It’s not very evident in this video but the line “the shadow like me” is not the only fake tattoo V uses for ‘ON’. He also had an elaborate twisted ‘shadow thorn’ running from his chest up the left side of his neck. That one is clearer in the official video you’ve already watched. It changed slightly for each performance. He wanted to really ramp up the energy and drama for the song and thought this would help him nail the characterisation. Up until 2022, only Jungkook and Jimin had permanent tattoos, but now they each have a 7 friendship tattoo.

This was filmed In the LA area at a place called the Sepulveda dam in the LA River basin. The music was done by the UCLA marching band, concert band and the Blue devils drum corps. The dance group is called The Lab which is an LA based dance group.
