In the video, we see appearances from none other than the producer of the record DJ Mustard, Ab Soul, Jay Rock, all the Top Dawg Entertainment members (TDE), Kendrick's manager Dave Free, Kendrick's fiancée Whitney, Demar Derozan, amongst many other significant cameos, which put the nail in the coffin for Drake and all the rumours he created within his beef with Kendrick.
In this video, we'll break down every scene from the video and explain the significance behind every visual, reference, appearance, and more, as well as the snippet of new music that Kendrick premiered within this video.

I'd love Drake fans to tell me about the times they suddenly got new insight into a Drake & Co lyrical product. I think that last scene with Kendrick, staring at the owl in a cage, had two meanings. 1: he’s saying that the bars he dropped against Drake locked up his career 2: he saying Drake and OVO will soon be behind bars.

I agree, i also noticed that in the clips with the owl as Kendrick is walking away, the owl is in a defensive/fearful position with its feathers fluffed up in the back and its head low. It could be unintentional and the owl is just spooked from the filming, but i think its pretty cool that they chose a shot that may represent Drake being scared of what this might do to him.

The guy goes on and on about how he's a gangster and about that life. Just my opinion: The opening line doesn't say "broccoli." It's "Woke up looking for the Barclay...IP ownership the Blueprint is by me...,"all referencing The Barclay Center, IP ownership and working with JayZ bringing the coasts together. So, Jay is by KDot at the Barclay which Jay was a huge part of re-opening and Kendrick owns his IP like Jay did once he bought his masters, including the Blueprint album. The Kamasi part refers to the famous saxophonist Kamasi Washington who is the founding member of the collective West Coast Get Down. Double, triple entendres and more. 🔥🔥🔥

The owl at the end… 1. An owl is a predator 2. A predator preys on others to survive (hence why Drake is a colonizer) 3. A predator belongs in jail (hence the cage) 4. Kendrick puts Drake in a cage and he’s the only one that can unlock it 5. This video was released on Independence Day in which we celebrate our freedom. Drake is not free, he is a prisoner to his label. 6. Kendrick is looking down at the owl all while the owl does not move when Kendrick is present. When Kendrick puts it in the cage and moves away, the owl then starts leer. 7. The owl is white and brown just like Drake being biracial 8. Owls are creepy just like Drake 9. When do you ever see owls??? Rarely. Owls hide and we rarely can ever spot them, just like a PDFile. We dont know who's a PDFile because they too are in hiding. Absolutely diabolical and genius of Kendrick.
