Long ago, an ancient alien civilization terraformed whole arms of the galaxy to create what they called their Garden. They left behind remnants of their technology and their robotic Servitors, who to this day follow the orders of their long-vanished masters to tend the Garden. They also left a legacy of genetic experimentation which includes…us.

When you remodel your house, do you paint the walls before you put them up? When you are still writing a play, you don't create the sets. Artists are busy working on building the walls and making sure they are functional and fun to play with. They will get around to painting later! When a game is still in development, train yourself to look at the functionality not the paint job.

Its fine to look forward to the future, just don't forget to look back every once in a while and remember how you got where you are. Games like Ultima Online, SWG and Runescape are special for a reason and those reasons should not be neglected in the sandbox space. Thank you for your amazing work in the past, here's to the future.

Played SWG for 21 years now and the ideas in this sound amazing, I will be honest the graphics look worse than the 21 year old game I still play though. I think they are off putting, I hope that is something that changes before go live.

The overall concept is something I'll enjoy, but those graphics.... I'm not saying graphics have to be realistic, but there is something really off with the graphic style you chose. The world doesn't look gritty, scary.

I know graphics are secondary to having all the core systems and features that we all want, but I am going to be that person and say this. This art style looks like it was made for children. When I read the description of the game and then look at the art, it doesn’t look at all like I expected. I do not require hyper realism, but this is not something I can immerse myself in. Far to toonish and frankly extremely dated looking. Hope it changes as development moves forward, but not holding my breath on that one.

Beta Tester for SWG and quit after NGE (Badkitty on Eclipse Server) Played so many games since, WoW for 15 years, but NOTHING ever scratched that itch that SWG left. Here's to hoping that Stars Reach will satisfy that itch :D
