How do you polish this probe before use?

The included cleaning pad is an added value, essential for proper cleaning between uses. The best way to clean the probe is with soap and water.

Why is the Mark between 6 and 7 offset from the middle ? Is it 6.5 or 6.3 ?

Hello! The logarithmic scale is properly calibrated to give the most accurate results. Contains information for both use and recommendations for how to adjust soil pH and/or choose the correct plants, based on your results.

Mine is stuck at 7 and does not change in any soil. Broken?

Same. Did you ever get it to work? I'm trying every which way to get it to move and it ain't moving. Might return.
