My son was stationed in Vermont and he and a fellow Airman went to Keith’s concert. They were invited on stage during this song. My son has always been patriotic, but being on stage to see the actual response from the crowd, is something he will never forget. And tell your dad Thank You for his service!

I served with US army in Afghanistan in 2004, this song brings me chills and to tears because of the memories. Sorry but this war was necessaty.

I heard this song performed live in the middle east with a few hundred or thousand service men and women, not long after 9/11. The feeling of all those members singing "we'll put a boot in your ass it's the American way" still sends chills down my spine.

Overnight Toby Keith passed away from stomach cancer. That man is a true patriot and this song as well as his other patriotic songs still chill me! I’m an Army Wife and I’ve listened to him since he came out! He’s awesome. Hopefully his family and loved ones find peace in his peace now.
