Dimonds are a false monopoly and the only Dimonds on watches that will ever maintain/suprass the value if its factory set. They aren't very rare and most the money comes from the beautifully cut gemstone rather than the weight of the stone.

I’m just a random but even I got an expensive ring stolen from me. I got it in another country, where my fam is from, so it was cheaper there but it’s shiny, amazing quality, and blinged out. Wore it to work, came back with it gone. I looked everywhere for it. Even went to a gas station I stopped at earlier that day with my bf and the ppl assumed that it was my wedding ring so they gave me their number and were hella kind and sympathetic bout it. It was actually hella sweet, how worried they were for me. Ended up finding the ring snatcher from cameras at my work 😂. I got it back and called the gas station to thank them and let them know I got it back. My motto for wearing jewelry now is only wear cheap thinngs when I’m out in public and moving around a lot cause you can be so busy that u won’t notice that ppl are watching what you have and looking for an opportunity to take it when you’re distracted. And don’t wear expensive jewelry when not sober cause I’ve lost plenty of shit when I’m out and drunk or whatever.
