Great Band!! They have quite a history with the singers the bassist, if I remember correctly the singer on this song is no longer with the band, so yea but keep reacting to them they have a ton of great songs.

These guys were one of my favorite bands at one point, got into them around this era actually. Mothership, Deathstar, Happiness, and Downtown Battle Mountain 2 are beasts of albums if you’re looking for crazy catchy guitar work with absolute absurdity mixed in everywhere Edit: to check out next I’m just gonna leave a few from each album I mentioned Deathstar (self titled) - Caviar (ft Chino Moreno), Uneasy Hearts Weigh the Most Happiness- Carl Baker, Don’t Tell Dave DBM2- Thug City, Elder Goose Mothership- Young Robot, Inspire the Liars

i think Hollywood is taking about the "breakdowns" when he said those pauses drops whatever actually this terminology it came out most of it from death core bands because they used to using a lot.

Re: Screaming lyrics. John Mess has said on a few interviews that it's a basically a crap shoot combo of relevant to the song/rhythm/alliteration. If the content fits, great. Something he finds interesting that fits rhythmically, even better. He's mentioned Pico di gallo and tomato basil... and also.... Brain brimming through a sea of bats They're nipping chords and spinning webs of rhythm as they flap Are you decalcified but stupid high? Still sad after sex? Did you realize that all this time, your crown was just a hat? Dude is an artist that has perfected his craft. (imho) And just has fun with it.

Around 2016, this album and the one after are pretty good but I wasn’t huge on their last two releases, although Afterburner (the album before their most recent) had a lot of cool experimenting on it

The hellbender! Idk how I came across that information but I remember reading about them one time. They must have been in the news or something because they only became our official state amphibian 5 years ago. They are apparently North America’s largest salamanders. Never knew they were also called snot otters though 😆 Looks like they have some at the Pittsburgh Zoo, I might have to go see them lol

Definitely recommend checking out more of their stuff, they have some great musicianship, their guitarist, Will Swan, is one of the best in the game imo!

They have 2 singers. One does cleans (Tillian)and the other does harsh vocals (Jon). Tillian is no longer with the band but he has an awesome voice.
