I have the elite that I got a few months ago and it not as full as the one you have. This video is interesting about how much things are changing. If I had one request to the companies that make them, it would be to please make them less voluminous so they don’t look like wigs. I would think most would agree, but I don’t know.

Hi Taz! I gave up on my Editor’s. I just couldn’t work with it. I wanted to love it like everyone else seemed to. Then I picked another color, Shaded Biscuit. I held my breath and gently put it on because I thought I would have to return it, well... it looked gorgeous, even on me! I saved it for an elegant formal wedding! I had so many compliments - even the groom at the entrance of the cathedral asked if I had my hair done because he said I looked beautiful! I nodded my head and just said, thank you. As for the size, I was thankful it fit my big head of 22”. The color may have helped. This time it worked for me. Thanks RW and wigstudio1! And thank you, Taz!

I just received my Editor's Pick in the mail and found out my usual favorite wig has changed. I agree with Taz that it's very poor. Also, it isn't nearly as curly as my first one I purchased so long ago. If it isn't broke, don't fix it. I wish 😪 it would have stayed the same.

I purchased my first editors pic because of you Taz. I would watch your review over and over again and I did watch a few overs. Even though I love it and I wore it quite a bit I’ve purchased some other wigs now and it’s not my first go to. I’m watching your video right now and my editors pic looks like the one that you are reviewing. I always felt that it was a little bit big on the sides and on the top and I would find myself patting it down especially after I had seen a picture of myself or looked in the mirror and now that you did the side by side view, I just like the first one so much better. But mine is definitely more like this new one that you’re reviewing as I watch. It looks fabulous on you, but I do prefer the first one. I’ve also had to trim off some of the frizz that happens when it gets too hot against the neck and when I perspire( in the warm Florida sun) . I purchased unfiltered more recently and I actually prefer that one better because it’s not as thick. I have it on in my bio picture but for some reason it’s not showing up. Anyway I love your reviews and your channel. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful info on your knowledge of wigs. It hasn’t even been quite a year yet that I started wearing wigs, but I will always wear them now and rarely ever go out without one. Of Course while I’m home and working in the yard I don’t. Wow! Thanks for this video. I've worn Editor's Pick since it was first introduced and it is definitely my favorite as well as my go to for an evening out. I just tried on my newest one and was shocked at the BIGNESS of it! I came online to see if I was imagining the difference. Guess not. I really dislike big hair and hate that they have changed EP.

This is my favorite wig and favorite color - pale golden honey! it seems to grow- meaning gets fluffier after you wear it too! The cap is large too! I have a 21 inch head. The lace front is truly the best with Rachel Welch brand. Love this color on you! It does get kinda crunchy after a while and is why I usually wear human hair. Just can’t get this style with human hair! The curl is so gorgeous.

My Editors Pick is 3 years old now and it still looks like new. I love the style but had to work it in the beginning due to the amount of volume. It is the wig I wear the most and would purchase a replacement when the time is right. Great video comparing the changes the style has gone through.

The new one is quite different to your initial Editors pick and the curl pattern is much nicer on your older Editors Pick. Maybe they’ve changed manufactures in recent times?

I am so glad I watched this, I thought it was just me. I had watched your original review and decided to order it. When I got it, it was a huge bush of hair that I wore one day and it was already frizzled on the ends. So I decided to order the Elite EP and same thing. I just love the look, but hate how bushy and seemingly dryer fibers it is. I am a 22" circ and it is large on me. It makes me sad that it isnt like your original one.

Hi Taz! I purchased RW Editor's Pick Elite several weeks ago as my FIRST wig and it was definitely because of your wonderful reviews. I love all your reviews and have (probably) watched most of them. I am glad I just saw this review because I have been feeling there is WAY too much hair on this wig for me. I'm petite at 5'1". It is beautiful, though. I purchased a dark red color because I color my very dark ash brown bio hair a red mahogany. Should I just keep "working" the wig to try and get it tamed down? The volume has kept me from trying to wear it out and about. I'm feeling a bit discouraged.

So glad to see this. My head is 23” around, but I measure petite from forehead to nape! I have not been able to purchase RW due to their small circumference sizing. I must purchase from the rather small selections available for large heads, and then remove Wefts front to back. I find it easy to remove wefts, so this seems like a win-win. I am wondering if you will remove any volume in this one? It would be fun to see how you trim and thin it. Thanks for a great review!

I agree with you,Taz. EP has (sadly!) changed. I am currently trying make my third EP behave, and not having much success. It's too flat on top, too full on the sides, and the curl is not as defined. I'm SO disappointed as I bought this one to wear to my daughter's wedding. They all take a week or two of training, but this has been a few months and it just will not look like my previous two. :(

This looks like Editors Pick Elite which is very curly, I just purchased this wig in Hazlenut I love all the waves..

I purchased my editors pick last year and it was a lot of hair so I watched you to learn how to thin it out. The cap seems ok but I have smaller head and would prefer more in petite to average. Mine is in shaded biscuit color also. Luv for summer. Take care.

I wash and condition and spray leave in then pick out the snarls, scrunch it well and turn inside out The curl is lovely .... after 2 years!

Taz, I'm about to order this because it comes in a LARGE (!!!) and in the color "Iced Sweet Cream" which is unrooted. My choices in large wigs that come unrooted in white or lightest platinum are SO limited. So I can't be choosey. I would have preferred the "Elite" version, but apparently, it does not come in the large size. Thanks for the review.

Good discussion of how to care for curly wigs. Agree that some of the instructions are unclear. I do it your way, probably learned it from you.

Great video! My latest Editor's Pick is less hair in Bronzed Sable. It looks and feels like a Belle Tress piece. The couple before that are way more hair! I love this style a top 3 for me! I ordered her and she didn’t suit me! I decided to keep her and redid the curl pattern in beachy waves. I think it goes way better with my somewhat edgy style. She is comfortable and now I am happy with her. I am also happy that I have finally learned to curl my wigs the way I want to 😃

I have heard the new Editors Pick is nappy as opposed to the earlier design. Even on the 1st time wearing it. It is my favorite, as well. Let me know if you have noticed this because I am getting ready to make my 1st purchase. Thank you so very much for turning this problem for women into a blessing. Hi Taz, this Editor's Puck does look a lot fuller than the ones you reviewed a few years ago. Regarding the cap, I purchased my first RW wig around 3 years ago, Play it Straight. I have a 21.75 inch circumference and that wig was very tight on my head. I kept checking to be sure they didn't mistakenly send me a small or petite size, but the box and invoice both said it was an average size. I purchased Editors Pick shortly after and the cap fit just fine. But mine did not resemble yours or other reviewers. It was very poofy on the top and I could not calm it down after steaming several times. A few months ago I purchased RW On Point and that average cap is huge. So much that I had to pinch a few areas on the top sew them together to try to flatten the cone that was at the end of the mono part. That was successful, but my adjusters had to be crisscrossed to tighten up the rest of the wig. I love this wig but there is still a lot of loose cap in the back. As always just love your reviews and really appreciate all you do in your reviews. Also glad to hear in your previous video that your son is coming along. Prayers to you and your family that he continues to improve 🙏🙏🙏

I ordered the Editors Pick Elite and had to send it back. The average cap was petite! I was so disappointed!

That’s how mine was in my very first purchase in a different color over 2 years ago and I haven’t repurchased since. I felt like I had “lion” hair too, just felt big and so fake!

How do you de-frizz the bottom layers caused by friction?

I've bought two of these since spring and the curl pattern is quite different, one is slightly larger than the other. I like raquel wigs because they seem to have that extra room for my 22.5' size head.Mine style differently; one holds a curl much better. I love both of them; this style is in my top three. Beautiful.

I like the styles & lace front on RW wigs, in 30 years I’ve had 2 or 3 and so big, won’t buy RW anymore because average sizes run large!

Do you only put a spray conditioner on Editor's Pick, no soaking in a conditioner?

Watch out Dolly Parton, the world is about to be filled with your old look if people buy these. I tried the old style because I had to see what the big fuss was about with Editor's Pick. The Editors Pick you are wearing is somuch more hair, it seems, than mine. Mine seems to have way less wave in it. What can I do to perk it up? I also was alittle disappointed in the color (I have biscuit rl19/23) It seems more silverygray than blond. I almost think its the wrong color sent. Biscuit on your videos looks so light blond. I am naturally a platinum color. How can I bulk up that wig alittle?

Ahh I thought it was just mine! I received Editor’s Pick (regular, not elite) in shaded iced mocha a few months ago and it was very bushy as well. Kind of turned me off to the style, to be honest!

Hi Taz.... I watch almost all your videos and I purchased a Editors Pick with a partially hand tied crown and the rest is wefted....is this a normal cap that Editors pick sells? Cuz the only other ones I find are a whole 100 percent hand tied. I want to make sure I'm not getting ripped off....I payed $450 at a wig shop in my neighborhood....she told me it was Raquel Welch Ediotrs Pick only cuz I asked her if she sold name brands and she knew I knew a lot about wigs. So I just wanted to see if you knew if that was actually a real Raquel Welch wig....there was no RW tag on it but wasn't sure if it's cuz she gets the for wholesale and then turns around and sells them retail. That's the only thing that would make sense to me. Thank you

I do love this style but am frightened of the heat friendly fibers. Do you find matting or other issues? I am interested in non heat friendly options, although I suspect none will be quite like the Editors Pick.

I got my Editor's Pick in March or so. I struggle with it. It always seems to be stringy or something. I don't have a good term for what I'm thinking. Maybe my face shape just doesn't go with it. I'm still trying. I haven't given up yet.

Taz I also have bought a new RW wig that is way too big. I love the style and color but I am sending it back. I can handle making adjustments to where I don't have to worry about it falling off but I just can not deal with all the extra room in the crown! I just can't be comfortable in it. Do you have any problems with the crown and if so, what do you do about that? There were other styles that I wanted but won't get now. I just expect better when spending nearly $300 on a wig!

Taz, likewise I love Editors Pick and wore out my 1st one and bought a 2nd . I was very disappointed and felt it had changed. Heavier density and the waves are bigger, less beachy and bottom heavy. It looks more wiggy and grandma'ish to me. I don't know why wig makers do this. I have a big head and I had to send a newer release RW back because it felt too tight so different that your size change experience. I understand slight variations but don't appreciate big changes like I experienced with my new Editors Pick. 😒👎
