I agree with the difference in the rooting. I LOVE shaded bisquit, however I am loving shaded sand mostly the lighter root and the platinum highlights around the face. I guess some may say that the shaded sand looks more natural. I know that for me, Ill have no problem having both in my collection! Lol Thanks again Taz! Blessings

An idea for a video Taz could be all rooted wigs colors that have a lighter root. It's hard to remember all of them.

I love Raquel Welch wigs. No one does a better lace front and over all quality. What Raquel Welch hasn’t done is provide lighter rooting for those of us who do not want dark roots. Belle Tress is excellent with their colors. All wigs are beautiful on you Taz but this frames your face beautifully.

After watching your video yesterday on the new Raquel Welch wig, Untold Story, in shaded sand I was wishing you had a comparison of this new color next to shaded biscuit as I thought they must be similar. Hi Taz, I love the subtle root on shaded sand! Plus even though it is warm, anyone can wear it with the cool platinum around the face. Just gorgeous! I love all the different shades giving dimension. I live in the UK and have found your KZfaq channel has helped me enormously on my wig wearing journey. It has taken me about 3 years to "get the memo" that I am not a versatile wig wearer like you. A recent purchase of my signature Raquel Welch style in Shaded Biscuit has been a little disappointing but as a more seasoned wig wearer I have learned to make my own adjustments. If Shaded Biscuit had an ashy dark root thinking it might be more complimentary. The hot root with the ash color throws it off for me. Liking the Shaded Sand better for consistency in tone.

TAZ, you have these colors down perfectly. In these two styles..WHY PICK? 😁 One style says a “Lil Punk” with a darker root and the other says: “Wedding Hair” or SMOOTH CLASSY! Thank you for this important comparison (at least for Shaded Biscuit devotees). I have had some variance in Shaded Biscuit with the root being darker on some (to my dismay) than others, even in the same style. I will definitely give Shaded Sand a try because I like the idea of the lighter root while still have the platinum highlights around the face. Great job as usual!

Excellent comparison Taz! I’m really loving that shaded sand and definitely would like to try it and on that style, but I saw on Mimi’s‘s live today that they tried untold story on in a few shades and it didn’t look anything like yours which worries me. It had beachy waves to it and I love the way yours is more like upstage just soft and blended and classic. The thing about Shaded Biscuit is you never know what you’re going to get, right? Everyone I have is different and some are very dark. My maximum impact is really more of a brunette with highlights. It looks to me like Shaded Cappuccino if that and same with nice moves… That one has a very dull blonde which disappoints me when I get a new RW and I get a darker application. My Mesmerized, simmer and flirt alert have that perfect gorgeous bright highlighting and plenty of brightness around the face and I think that’s what matters most to me. I don’t mind if it’s dark behind the front but I want a lot of blonde around my face as I get older! Love your videos and I don’t know how it’s possible but they seem to be getting more and more informative if that’s even possible. The split screen you did on the six new Envy colors was unbelievable! I am so excited about these new envy colors because I love their HH/HD fibers. My Ericka is the best Wig ever because it doesn’t tangle and it’s long but I figure I can cut it as I need to and will get years of wear out of it. I have it in light blonde which is gorgeous and I just put a smudge of a root at the park and it’s perfect!

Previously, when Shaded Biscuit was not available in a style, or, during the last few seasons running too dark, depending on application, I chose Pale Golden Honey. Again, some were just soft and lovely, others were ultra drab. In that case, would Shaded Sand be more bright, or Pale Golden Honey, in the case Shaded Biscuit is either unavailable or even if it continues to be darker, having less platinum, the thing I love most! I love those gorgeous light, bright platinum highlights around the face and all around! ☺️

These types of videos are the most helpful. Color spotlights and color comparisons. I wished RW had better golden, warm, blondes without being red. I might try Shaded Sand. Shaded Cappuccino is too cool for me. Shaded Wheat is too red. I really want to find a golden honey blonde in the RW line.

You're right about the subtle differences in shades of color on different styles. I bought High Octane in Shaded Sand and it was so warm on me - I ended up getting it in Biscuit. I don't know why I'm afraid of the warm tones but I am. I'll have to work on that ;)

Love both of em... but I think 🤔 they should also make the shaded biscuit with a light brown root . bc I prefer the lighter brighter (platinums) of SB over the warmth (golds) of the SS -- IMO , that would be perfection I've been looking for. .probably the same reason ur sayin it's giving SB a run for its money to you. 😆 thankfully they both look great,, maybe use as a look for summer(SB) & winter(SS) if someone likes & has both of em😁 To ME they are expensive, so I try to find what's "just right"😝🤑🤗

I own a Shakerato as well as three others from Belle Tress. Are these wigs Heat Friendly or Heat Defiant (I think that is the same thing)? I have conflicting videos on caring for them. Someone said not to use heat at all, not even on low and use only steam, while I recently read an article that said that using heat on low keeps them from clumping. I am so confused! lol. HELP?!

Hello Taz, I like better the shaded biscuit, though my original « bio » color looks more like shaded sand. I’d really like to try the shaded wheat, have you done a review on this color? Hi Taz, is shaded sand a new colour? It looks nice. All my RW wigs are in shaded biscuit, it’s just such a lovely natural colour, but I’ve always wanted to try a different blonde. I don’t suit every shade of blonde though, but S sand might be okay. Very hard to tell online, with lighting etc. Would you say shaded sand is darker than pale golden honey and shaded wheat? 😊
