Fair enough - but you say that as if it matters. If he wasn't a low-life coward he'd speak the truth about his crimes instead of hiding behind philosophical vagaries that in the end are nothing but deflection. The guy isn't very sharp - he just spouts whatever he's read. Manson and Bundy were psychopaths as well, but one difference was that they were highly intelligent. Manson was exceptionally cunning and masterful at twisting words around, and if you weren't careful his lies could start to sound true.

"Do you have feelings Richard?" "No comment" I think he's feeling a lot of feelings. He might have so much anger, disappointment or pain that it confuses him. In the end he really DID go through a lot of shit in his life.. It wasn't a good one. It was a life filled with pain and bitterness. I wouldn't want a life like his. Btw sorry if my english sucks. It's because it's not my first language.
@spiritanimal88364 жыл бұрын
Agreed.
@bimbowithadegree4204 жыл бұрын
Richard Ramirez was not a total psychopath. He did at times display empathy and hints of guilt. He wasn't born the way he became, he just was failed by the men in his life and they made him what he then became. With all that being said, it doesn't excuse what he did
@renataostertag60514 жыл бұрын

@inhabitantofearth Жыл бұрын
I've learned that he WAS a very dominant man. I noticed that he would spare the lives of the women (not all of them) that did EXACTLY as he said and didn't try to fight back. Also, this interviewer said he asked Richard to have a seat, but Richard told him "no, you first.". Then the interviewer told Richard "no, I insist. You're the guest, you first." The interviewer said Richard's demeanor changed after he said that, and Richard responded "NO. I insist. You first." Like, people call Richard a coward, but everything I've learned about him suggest he was no punk....polite, but very assertive if he was not pleased with something. I think his temper played a role in that because he had a hard time controlling his anger, so he had very little patience to tolerate any BS.

The narrator is a fool for uttering that he looked “strangely sad.” Since when do happy kill people? He was turned into a savage by his miserable Vietnam vet cousin, who was a nightstalker his damn self. He committed unspeakable atrocities during his service. Richard was nothing but a sequel.

Though he did such evil things, he actually speaks a lot of truth here. I don't know if I am jumping to the wrong conclusion here or not but from what I gather here, it really sounds like things could have gone different for him. Perhaps if it wasn't for his uncle glorifying such terrible misconduct and murder then he may have had a chance. He sounds more like a sociopath to me than a psychopath. If he was given a different life setting, I truly believe that he would be a different person. Scaremongering doesn't work. If we are to prevent this in future generations and if we are to be successful with early intervention for aspd then we need to LISTEN (of course with caution and smart judgement). If only experts were really experts lmao.
