I think the way that you present the hunts is just right, in close up, showing both sides of each coin and the speed at which you go through the coins is perfect too, not too fast and not to slow. Keep up the good work! Both 'recessed ear' dates were nice finds, too.

Keep doing what you are doing. Each one of these historic coins has a story to tell. I didn't realize how hard to find the 1915 recessed ear is to find until I started watching these videos. I am lucky enough to have a specimen that i got when I last visited the UK and bought a group of pennies to bring home to the USA. I had to divide them up to keep my suitcases from being overweight!

I love how you go through all the coins one at a time. A lot of the times you have to show mint mark, better condition, and varieties. Keep up the great videos. You ever think about doing a video where the coins are only given away to kids that comment on the videos? I belong to three coin clubs here in Washington state, and our goal is to promote coin collecting to kids. I thought your video is a great way to do this. Without the kids, we don't grow.

Dug myself a 1919 Hay'P just two days ago... love finding them! No... just please do it your way... that's why we watch! PS - You please keep coins you like... surely, you don't have to apologise when you find a coin you really like... after all - you paid for them! Yes, mug or no mug... what is yours should stay yours... until you ... OH well, I think you get the point!!

I like your current style of recording. Since you’re searching for dates, mint marks, and varieties, it’s nice to see a closeup of each coin. If you were doing hunts for commemorative 50p coins where you’re just looking for designs, then a more zoomed-out approach would perhaps be suitable.

At about 11:20 you talk a little about why you don't wear gloves and I agree, while you technically should be wearing gloves for that, I think that unless you fiddle and mess around with a coin many many times you are not going to wear down a coin. Also the only way I can think of to damage a coin with a single touch through coin hunting is if it has luster and you don't wipe it down or something.

Think you put 2 x 1916's down as they were just varieties of same year, one with the recessed ear, and one without. Another fruitful video with a few for the board, upgrades, oddities, and an album addition. Incidentally your way of hunting these type of coins is ideal. But as I hunt 50p's and £2's the other way, it's because I like to show the viewers that I'm not tampering with or adding coins out of shot, as that is classed as bag stuffing, so all my coin bags are always in view, and any nice find is then brought closer to the camera to show it in more detail.👍
@CoinPatrol
@CoinPatrol 6 ай бұрын
I don't think anyone thinks you would be bag stuffing Glen. Most people couldn't care less anyway, they just want to see the coins. Ask the same question on your channel, but reading the comments here, everyone wants the close up view. They like to spot errors, anomalies and anything I've missed. Then they can comment on it, and I like that too. 👍
