I think both of them are/were incredible. I also feel that Dime was the better of the 2. Both of these guys.. just monsters on guitar. Dime is truly missed

No he wouldn’t!!! He’d be absolutely pissed off about it!!! Don’t even try and act like he wouldn’t be! If you know anything about the history of Pantera, you’d know that it was a Phil who destroyed and ended Pantera, the group that the abbot brothers started together! Then Phil said f”cked up things about Dime bag, like he needs an a$$ beating! It was their band and Phil ruined it, ended the legacy! Why do you think Phil wasn’t allowed at Dimes funeral? He doesn’t deserve to be at the funeral, but it’s ok for him to tour using the Pantera name? Come on now!! Really think about it! Dime would be extremely pissed off to see them tour using the Pantera name! And so would Vinnie Paul!! Yes, he would be happy with Zakk, but definitely beyond disappointed that he did his part in touring with Panteras name using Phil and Rex. The new Pantera tour was nothing but shame! Not because of Zakk, but because Phil ruined Pantera and then tours after the creators of Pantera have died and doesn’t call it a tribute, but actually calls it Pantera!!! It’s beyond sad!!! Any true fan of Pantera, knowing their history, would be absolutely pissed off that this even happened!!! They could have at least called the tour a Pantera tribute!!! Because it was definitely NOT Pantera!!!!! It would be like removing Eddie from Van Halen and then seeing Sammy Hagar tour with the band name Van Halen! It’s not Van Halen without Eddie!!! It’s beyond sad that someone should even need to explain this! This is how far humans have fallen these days, they can’t even see when something f”cked up has happened, It’s beyond sad.

@Canna Occult I have been a fan of Pantera since 91. I don't think it's "Pantera ". It's a tribute. Phil talked shit about them but they did it too. They aren't claiming it to be the new Pantera. Phil has since talked with Rita and she agrees that a tribute is the right thing. It's not disrespectful at all.

Technically yes, but my opinion, Dimes solos had more soul and personality. I feel Zack just always showcased speed with a pinch harmonic every other note lol

So weird to look back at this video and to now look at Zakk Wylde replacing Dimebag in Pantera. There was no better replacement though. Zakk Wylde was a good choice

Dime and vinnie was probably gonna join BlS after Damage Plan then go back to Pantera but we will never kno. Rip Dimebag Darrel and vinnie this is a vicious solo it need to be on a song or something with vocals im sure dime has alot more song not out or finishished im a vocalist i do outlaw music
