Dime and vinnie has this attitude of not grabbing too much attention to themselves. usually when they say something its most often always about giving credit to their inspirations the people who supported them and the production crew that makes things happen.

I got to meet Dime and Vinnie and I have watched countless hours of Interviews and clips and I never saw Dime without a smile on his face, he didn't seem to let a minute go by that he wasn't thankful and grateful that he got to play music for a living and living the dream. One of those guys like Eddie Van Halen that the guitar was a extension of his body , so natural. So glad I got the chance to shake his hand and play him my shitty bands demo , I had my Discman with me at the meet and greet and he was more than happy to check it out, he even said " cool guitar sound " The world truly lost a original the day he died .

Phil has always been the verbal guy. You wouldn't have asked Dime: "Hey dude, let Phil play some guitar solo too!"

@ᇫ the overall context is called here stage fever. Dime didn't had his tool to perform, Phil has always his mouth(for war) on his head. Have you seen footages of Dime walking in the crowd with his Razorback? Not so much texting... Interview or concert doesn't matter, the point is to perform. ✌🏻Peace

Dimebag and Phil looked so healthy and sober back in the day. They looked relaxed and chatted with a sober mind and clarity. Over time the excess and partying took its toll on both men as it did on Rex and Vinnie. But that’s what it was like back in the day. Today it is a business and a career musician has to really look after their health both physically and mentally when on the road touring and between album cycles. I am so glad I got to see Pantera live, just once, back in the 90’s with the Far Beyond Driven tour. They were one of those bands that had things not unfortunately turned out the way they did, Pantera would have been one of the biggest metal bands on the planet. RIP Dimebag and Vinnie.
