@@r.towers4374 From Wikipedia: In July 1974, the group divided. Mike Urso left the group along with Hoorelbeke(Rivera) and they formed a new band, HUB, with Rare Earth's 1970-1972 co-producer, Tom Baird, using the initials of their surnames (Hoorelbeke, Urso and Baird). HUB went on to record two albums for Capitol Records (HUB and Cheata) but came to a sudden end in November 1975 after Baird was killed in a boating accident.

I obtained this about five years ago. It most definitely came from one of two places - Either "The Traders Den" or " Dime A Dozen". This is the only video I have of Rare Earth from that era. If you join International Echoes Hub, you can download the complete DVD from my "Live Klassics" files.🤘

These are great songs and talented musicians, but when the drummer played part of his solo without sticks, he's imitating John Bonham. Not very professional or creative.

with all due respect to the great original live version of "get ready" on "in concert" (which I`ve been listening to for fifty years now), but the bass solo here is every bit the equal of persh`s solo, if not more virtuoso. this is no surprise btw, as the bassist is none other than stevie wonder`s bass player (on "superstition", etc.), reggie mcbride.

I guess the rest of the music industry was mistaken considering he played on over 100 albums including Stevie Wonder, Elton John, B.B. King, Ziggy Marley, Eric Burden, Herbie Hancock, Rod Stewart and a multitude of others, but they were probably not as qualified to judge talent as you are... Regardless of your opinion of who played best, why not just kick back and enjoy the music that is here to listen to? Not all that many recordings of their concerts exist, so enjoy what's there.
