**RARE - HAZMAT Response** FDNY Uses Extrication Tools to Isolate Burning Li-Ion Battery in Brooklyn

2 жыл бұрынOn the afternoon of 3/20, FDNY's 38th Battalion Companies responded to a report of a restaurant fire on Rockaway Ave in the Brownsville neighborhood of the city. After an investigation the 38th Battalion requested a hazmat response for multiple smoldering Lithium-Ion Batteries in the store. Squad 252 used a battery-powered cutter to isolate the batteries from the scooters they were powering, and put them into containment vessels.
