Thank you for doing this piece on Greta. I was friends with her for many years and I'm currently working on a documentary about our friendship. She was an amazing, intelligent, passionate and loving friend. Some of these stories about her life are sensationalized. In all honesty, she was just living life as a beautiful, desired woman in a time where women weren’t allowed to use their brains, but their bodies to get what they wanted. However, she continued to have admirers up until her death. She was by all accounts, a loving person, friend and mother. Per Rudolph's comments below.... Yes., she walked the stairs to keep in shape- even up until she was into her elderly years. Whenever we walked on the street, EVERYONE looked at her (men in particular, young and old)....I miss her very, very much. P.S. I know this story is to provoke views, but you have Barbara Streisand placed in the reel. Also, Greta's last name is pronounced “Thy”-sen.

I was an exchange student in Denmark in the early 70’s. I would speak to community groups afterwards at home. Always started with “Marilyn who?” She was a hit with the Elks! lol

Greta was a nice lady. I sent her a lobby card from her movie Terror is a Man, and she was gracious enough to personally autograph it for me.

I knew her when she was 57...She attended art school with my late wife. At 57, when she'd walk down the street, teenage boys would whistle at her. To maintain her spectacular figure; she'd walk upstairs to her apartment, rather than use the elevator. She lived on the 34th floor! She was one of the loveliest people I ever knew.

I think you should update you video, at 5 min 13 sec you have Barbra Streisand in the images and at 5 Min 40 sec you have Ditta VonTease, tey don't look like Greta.

Sounds like Gretta was a bad girl! Beautifull on the outside, but trouble on the inside. A real Lawbreaker! She's the type of woman I stay away from no matter how physically attractive she might seem. Not worth the heart break. I met up with a girl in High School back in 1985 just like her. Her name was Delyla. She table danced on my desk in front of the whole class and the teacher. I think she had a crush on me or was just teasing me. She hung out with the pot heads. I was a Christian. "I REBUKED HER IN THE NAME OF JESUS with giant stiffy in my pants!!!" Now she's a Christian and a Radio Station D.J.. Go figure?
