A clip from a 1990 BBC 'Omnibus' documentary on the Celtic myth of the 'Green Man'. Writer of 'Slaine' Pat Mills discusses the project and artist Simon Bisley is filmed creating a 'splash page' of a Celtic sacrifice.

Wtf!? Never seen footage of such a young Bisley! Crazy. Best comic book artist 🎨 to me. No one else captured realistic blends like this IMHO.

Oh WOW!!! Simon Bisley and Pat Mills. What a duo. I remember reading 2000AD loving it and all the different characters within - Judge Dredd, ABC Warriors, Slaine, Nemesis the Warlock, Space Trucking Co, Rogue Trooper....I remember buying Simon Bisley's graphic novellas. Brilliant, takes me back 30+ years. Brilliant!

Thank you so much for uploading this, I've been looking for it for years. As a Bisley/Slaine fan I remember seeing this on tv as a teen and it blowing my mind. Seeing comic art process was extremely rare in the days before the internet!

He is trully the best. I was very young when I happened to find a Slayne comic book, Iknew nothing about it or the lore or Simon Bisley, it stuck to my head! The panels looked so alive and the colours my God were absolutely gorgeous. I am 34 years old now and last month I found out who Simon Bisley is!! He is my favourite comic book artist,, Oh how I would love a huge painting of his in my house, it would be the best work of art ever.
