BS! I have seen several people faint while standing. They land flat on their face! Not on their knees and break the fall with their hands!

Poor chap was swaying for several minutes before he finally went down, so he knew what to do, once he realised he wasn't going to be able to hang on. He was totally out of it when he was carried past.
