The conference league... personally, if were in it, I want to win it. When we won the Europa league, the big statement was we've finally won every trophy possible as we'd never previously won the uefa Cup. Then they bring this tin cup in. Being united you'd never expect us to be in it in the first place. But like i said, if were in it, we want to win it. It would a great experience for the young players and who knows, maybe they can make the natural progression together year on year. Win the conference league, win the europa league or at least do well and qualify for champions league, hopefully leading to establishing ourselves at the top table in Europe and the league every season like we hope.

I don’t get why people would prefer nothing to the Conference. The conference would be an opportunity for our squad and youth players to get proper minutes in competitive football. Don’t discount how important stuff like that is. Then, if we get to the latter stages we can stick a few first teamers in. Joe is correct.

Everyone seems to overlook something about being in the Conference League. We could become the first team to complete the entire UEFA set - Champions League, Europa League, Cup-Winners Cup and Conference League. With the Cup-Winners Cup discontinued, and the likes of Bayern, Real and Barcelona never likely to play Conference League, could be a record we hold for a while. Silver linings and all that.

At this point I'd be alright with being in the Europa Conference because of the potential to give youth players some real game time alongside first team squad players they otherwise wouldn't get in the bigger tournaments. As much as I want to win the FA Cup, I don't think Europa League football next season helps us.

I mean I haven't watched the video yet but the only way this makes sense is if we bring on Garnacho for the energy he brings as a super sub and I feel its a risk Ten Hag should take because Garnacho has proved his worth as a super sub before (like against Fulham). Rashford must however defend and attack well and bring some much needed creativity otherwise this won't work but its definitely a good option worth trying.

Rashford is neither a creative wide player on the ball or a hard worker off the ball . His only contribution to the team is goals and his average over 9 league seasons is 9 league goals per season. How he was ever "star boy" is incredible. The fact that teams were built around him has led to 8 wasted years .utd teams in the project rashford era are only truly happy set up with 10 behind the ball and balls over the top. That's mid table or lower type of tactics.

Martinez should be starting to get him match fit and shake the rust off before the Final. Play him next to Casemiro as Amarbat doesn't deserve to be dropped. Agree witg Garnacho needing a rest but i play Garnacho for 55-60mins and then take him off. Rashford doesn't deserve a start with his form and attitude this season. And i want Utd to sell Rashford to help rebuild the club.

Yes Conference League would be good for rotation. But unless my memory’s failing me, I can’t think of a single time Ten Hag played anything but a full strength side in a cup game. Including games against non league/league two sides

The European conference league is perfect for Utd next season, playing the kids with some of the first team for early games is perfect. Low expectation first team games. Perfect. If we win it I’ll be ecstatic. Champs League can come later. (Next season.)

I think starters in the fa cup final might not necessarily include Martinez, Casemiro, Rashford, Antony, McTominay, Amrabat. Play those against Brighton and see where they are

I'd like us to qualify for Europe, to suggest it's all dogdck teams isn't truthful. This season Aston villa played Hibs, Legia, AZ Alkmaar, Ajax, Lille, Olympiacos, the only team that I've not heard of is Zrinjski and they managed to get a draw with villa. As Joe said this could be games to see some youth player, but also play squad players to keep match fitness. The other thing is, we need to mitigate our commercial loses by not being in the championship league. Also it allows us to reach new fan bases

I agree that Garnacho should go back to the bench, not just for this game but also for the final, and as poor as Rashford has been this year, Garnacho's passing, crossing and decision making has been worse than Rashford's, I always think Garnacho has more impact off the bench where he often seems to change the game

Two people with sense. He’s mostly ineffective with his predictable style of play. Gets bodied. Runs into bad channels. Keeps trying that weak left footed cross or shot. Keeps going 1v2 or 3 like he’s playing basketball. Poor shooting technique trying to curve the right footer to the far post. He’s aggressive and does make things happen in moments but turns the ball over a lot. Garnacho = selfish.

You realize Garnacho has the same number of goals and only two more assists THIS season than… Rashford, right? Garnacho hasn’t been awe inspiring as a starter last few weeks. Like Rashford, he keeps doing the same thing, game after game after game. None of our forwards have done much this year, don’t even have a single player with ten goals in the league.
