Today we are with ‪@JamaicaFoodBoss‬ checking out a local favourite in Montego Bay....Myreth's Place aka Woolery Enterprises aka Chicken Back Bar! This might be the most unique restaurant in Montego Bay and possibly Jamaica, as it's not just a restaurant, there's also a novelties store inside the bar....Brown stew chicken, corned pork, ground provisions, all cooked with natural herbs and spices. This is some true entrepreneurship and some fantastic food, so much respect to Junior for the tour and to everyone in Mobay for the hospitality!

yo!! that restaurant would make bank in new york! his vibe is of a righteous boss and i wish i could get to jamaica and check it out. i really like when the channel branches out to different food spots. we all love love mokko's yard, but it's nice to give the man a break from being on cam all the time. and it great to expose nice eating spots, like this, and other jamaican cooks. keep up the great work, boss and matthew, i am living vicariously through you. big up! ras kitchen fam, every time!

Bro... screw America. Let these locals have a good life. He would be ruined soon after coming here. Especially in liberal NY. Leave paradise to come to a cold ass state with more pollution than all of the islands combined.. & more problems than pollution. If those rich people want good Jamaican food, they can go & pay there. I'd love to move & live there. Way more exciting than NY. Not to mention, when you leave country to cook somewhere else, your food immediately changes. Some fruits, veg & spice not to mention meat are illegal to bring overseas. Then they have to substitute, won't be the same. & you think they gonna keep a great attitude for long in all of that situation. You know how NY is. Jamaican- beautiful day mon! I call cap to the person who said Pimento is endemic to Jamaica. It's grown throughout the West Indies, Central America, and parts of Mexico. However, it was found on the Island of Jamaica first, and apparently Jamaica is the major exporter of Pimento.🇯🇲🇨🇦💞 For botanical information see "The Families of Flowering Plants: Descriptions and Illustrations" by L. Watson and M.J. Dallwitz

There are 4 kinds of allspice berries, only Jamaica has all 4, so he is not totally wrong. There is a low grade one that is grown in the rest of the region, but Jamaica has all 4 apparently the 3 strongest quality grade grown only in Jamaica. It seems the Arawak Indians take the allspice berries from Jamaica and plant it in other places in the region, but only one of the 4 successfully grown outside Jamaica. So he is not totally wrong.

Endemic doesn't mean exclusive. As a noun it means "prevalent , widespread or pervasive" Sorry I'm obsessive about language. He used the word in perfect context really. I know people who grow it here in Perth, Western Australia.

yo, I dont know about the thumbnail, might look good in big screen but in small image the way the F letter is shown looks like a P and the oo with the next letter being almost hidden, makes one read Poo oos , instead of Food Boss , anyhow you might change that if you feel iam right or not i dunno this is not a bad comment just wanna make this critic as it could been seen wrong i duno man , good day and cool video matheo !
