This is one of the best recipes she's ever done. I love that this is frozen as you go. This gives slow newbies (like me!) time to work through the steps bit-by-bit. Hell, I could take this so slowly - days at a time even - and really think about what I'm doing. Oh, man. Frozen desserts are so approachable!

I tried theses babies and they were absolutely delicious. I replaced the raspberries with strawberries instead and I made a strawberry marble sponge, As i'm not keen on pistachios. I had loads of compliments thank you for your recipes 😊

Replaced the raspberries with strawberries. Smart move. Boggles my mind that she decided to use raspberries, the world's most disgusting fruit, in a dessert in the first place.

Just made this, its in the fridge now but I am so excited to try it!! I really like how customisable this recipe is, I modified the recipe by making a chocolate base instead of pistachio and half of the dishes had raspberry sauce while the other half had plum, thanks Ann 💕

Ann Reardon: I began baking cakes for my oldest daughter's classrooms when she was in pre-school. It continued thru the end of middle school & she let me bake a few for high school but by them she was pleading me to make cupcakes like all the other moms. (I know; it hit my heart like lead - thankfully, I'd been baking cakes & goodies for our youngest daughter's classrooms too so all wasn't lost. Many of my cakes like the Jack O'Lantern (Old, Old, Old Wilton Pan. Learned earlier this year that the pans I have are in short supply b/c everybody wants them bc the new 'Jack' cakes don't appear the same & the material isn't as high quality. Same is true of all my old cake pans like this) don't come out as well b/c I'm told the attn to detail isn't what it used to be. Any time I brought a cake to school whether it was a holiday, special day, history date, teacher birthday, or even the carnival that was put on at the school these cakes flew off like mad. The last year I made 40+ cakes for the carnival. I'd bring the cake into the classroom but as soon as I hit the school door, I'd have teachers, students, employees, office staff, etc... following me along to see what was hidden away in what they knew was a goodie box. As soon as the teacher finally opened it, many couldn't bear that I refused to cut the cake. It was just a rule I made years upon years earlier. Each year for like 5-6yrs, this poor principal, who actually taught me to play instruments decades upon decades ago, had to do his duty for the teachers & come to the room where he ceremoniously made the first cut of cake. Even the kids clapped for him! LOL! If I had shown up with these for primary school or any of the others, I think even the principal would cry at first cut. They're beautiful!

You don't have to use nuts and coconut they aren't the main ingredient

You might have to use nuts for this recipe though. If you want to make this you could just make a regular sponge cake and for the other recipes I mean as long as they aren't essential or if they're replaceable don't add the nuts. :)

Can you substituent the pistachio? My girlfriend is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts and I don't wanna make it if it would change the taste somehow and I don't wanna make her have allergic reaction.
