Edit: oh I see, I think you're referring to Captain Quark not just in this game but going forward? I hope that's true. I've not played Tools or beyond that game yet but I've heard Quark might get redeemed and I kiiinda hope that's not true coz I don't like him as a good guy lol Edit2: ohhhhh exhibit Q for Quark. @@bigbadgammagnome He does get "redeemed" by the end of this game. I like to head-canon that he is a persona non grata in Bogon, at least. In Solana, he was mostly associated with Drek and then helped defeat Nefarious, but Bogon remembers the Protopets. They do not forget.

@@elias.t yeah I've played almost all games in the series now (minus Nexus coz the only copy I could get my hands on was busted, and some spin-offs) and I gotta say... I really don't like what they did with Quark lol. He's funny in this game but I still feel like he's not meant to be good! He's still an asshole. He's never given much of a reason NOT to be. I never felt he was redeemed by the end, but maybe that's what they were going for. I just didn't click with it Like anything with him outside of the original trilogy has me rolling my eyes. He was fun to hate in the first three. He was a little tiresome after that. Insufferable in Crack in Time. And I'm just bored of him now. That's just imo tho people can like him, I just don't. I feel like they had to change Ratchet's character in order to excuse why he puts up with the guy. And don't even get me started on his role in 2016 lmao. Blowing him up with my mind. Hate that guy

I liked comparing the RaC trilogy to Kingdom Hearts on the PS2. The jank, platforming focus, and unique charm not present in the rest of the series matches both first games, and KH2 matches UYA’s reduced platforming and changes to combat- but that leaves Going Commando as the fascinating middle ground. It improves on RaC 1’s concepts without stripping away, creating this really cool dynamic meld. Just interesting to think about parallels like that, I feel.

Penny's hatred of sniper rifles is enjoyably petty and I'm living for it. Honestly considering the sniper weapons in A Crack In Time it's absolutely justified.

@@malicetoaster1557 Nefarious is a delicate balance to try to strike, because he is goofy and provides much comic relief, but he is also a genuinely intimidating and effective villain. And I don’t think anything g has truly gotten him right since this game. A Crack in Time makes him a lot more of a joke and not as intimidating in my opinion, and as you said, the 2016 game played him almost entirely straight and that doesn’t work either. As for Rift Apart, I can’t comment on because I haven’t played it yet

@@theuone8828 All I know is on the Ratchet and Clank 3 marcadia demo disc at the end you get a screen showing a secret code for the main game. I recently played through it just for fun and found out about the code for the first time. The demo disc could come with any popular ps2 game at the time, but the copy of Sly cooper 2 usually always had a copy of the demo in it. It even says it on the back of the case.

This game has political commentary about how “heroic” ppl do bad things and then get nothing but a slap on the wrist and then continue to do bad things. This game trilogy overall has a anti-capitalist message This isn’t the right place to look for something to help u avoid the things u don’t want to see.
