Great video, would love to see this as a regular series (maybe once every month or two?). Would love to see a video focusing more on the more affordable range since most of these were fairly high end

#1- 4.5 points, was 4 but I have the same G-Shock, so bonus added. #2- 5 points. Excellent. #3- 3 points. Honestly was a bit boring IMHO. #4- 4 points. Is monochromatic with the exception of the numerals on the Nomos. Add some color for a full 5 points. #5- 4.5 points. Solid choices, especially the bottom row. Bonus half point for Vintage Zodiac! #6- 4 points. Nice group of watches, something dressy or "under the radar" would add that little bit more. #7- 1 watch 1point. #8- 4.5 points. Nearly a 5, add some color for that last half point. Nicely rounded collection. Thanks for sharing all!

AB’s collection: If you’re going to own a Sub, the no date is the only one to get IMHO. Just like the only Moonwatch to get it the manual wind closed back with hesalite crystal. If you want a Rolex with a date, add a GMT to the collection (assuming you can find one). Now if the Sub is your only watch, then I can understand the argument for having the date.

The “one watch collection” guy earns a higher score than my 40 piece collection would...sad!😂

1 = 4 2 = 4.5 3 = 3.5 4 = 4 5 = 3.5 6 = 3.5 7 = 2 8 = 3 Collection 2 is the most well rounded, though 1 is very much to my personal taste (and I disagree with most of your criticism of it) More of these please!

Some great collections. I have at least fifty watches, from Casio, Seiko, Hamilton, Stowa, Longines, Omega, Tudor, Bremont, Rolex , AP a Patek and other brands. I actually haven't counted how many I have for a while. I recently got into military style watches, so I got some more Hamilton, a Longines military COSD, and some Fliegers, Stowa , etc.

None of them have a bad collection, Not everyone can afford Rolex and Patek but even without those big brands you can have a great collection. The trend is steel sports models and divers. I love to see more dress watches in collections. I think 1 dress watch from brands like Jaeger Le Coultre or IWC suits every collection.

I held off submitting my collection, waiting for yesterday’s arrival of a Bertucci and Zeppelin. Maybe next time. The highest rating I gave to any of the collections in the video is a 3. None of the collections have the diversity that I value. Although I appreciate the “Less is More” philosophy, watch collecting is an activity where a larger collection does not necessarily devalue one’s appreciation of the individual pieces or cause negative issues in one’s life. It’s not like having 54 cats (and 44 parrots - to extend the analogy to my pocket and stop watches). I would not rate a collection lower if it did not include any particular brand, but would find it limited and odd if it did not have any Bulova, Casio, Citizen, Orient, Seiko or Timex watches.

Some watches are really nice (rolexes mostly), but a lot of them belong in the wastebasket, not in a watch collection.

If you do feature more of these videos, more stuff like the nr. 1 (satire) review be awesome! I mean, be a bit more critical, it's a roast after all, doesn't have to be so serious. Also... Calling a bunch of sports rolex models with a few casio beaters a "well rounded collection" was satire, right? :P I mean sure, they weren't the usual Rolex models, but it was still a pretty uninspired and one dimensional collection.

What would be a 1/5? No offence to the guy with the one watch collection but if it was rate my watch video I'd get it rather than a collection video.

My collection is date just 41 blue smooth jubille, hulk, magrette moana Pacific diver the original version, victorinox 40 ETA automatic military style and sarb 033. And while the last 3 are shitters, they represent the best time of my life. When I had no money but a lot of testorone. So its really not so much about how good the watch is but what goes on in the real life. Sometimes you are happy taking a walk with a best friend or a girl, and sometimes you sit in a golden cage wishing you were somewhere else or even dead .. that's just how life is .. watches are a piece of metal and nothing more.

I’m an offshore commercial diver (not scuba) and I have never needed the date function underwater on any of my dives... it doesn’t belong on a dive watch. For all you “desk divers” go get a GMT.

Ironically disappointed that the first collection you did turned out to be a joke - I'd have enjoyed this more if you'd really given your honest opinion, rather than just said nice things. The latter is, well, nice, but is what everybody else does with this kind of thing. Everybody is different, and likes different things, so it's ok to say you don't like something!
