I actually do agree for the difference in score between Megaforce and Samurai. Mostly because Samurai been the start of a new era, and revival for power rangers it kind of suits for it to go back to the classic theme, but megaforce doing it just feels lazy and like it's lacking it's own identity. And also Megaforce doesn't have the hardest line in all of Power Ranger "Jaden" and nothing tops that.

Megaforce's theme song is very lazy, if the themes of Megaforce and Samurai weren't power ranger songs, Megaforce would look like it was plagiarised, or even copied Samurai. Also, the theme for Samurai being MMPR's theme makes sense since Saban, the company that originally owned Power Rangers, bought it back from Disney, so it would be their first show when bought it back, or entering a new era of the Power Rangers franchise.

My personal favorites: 1- Lost Galaxy 2- SPD 3- In Space 4- Mighty Morphin 5- Dino Thunder (Maybe it's a biased take, cause I've watched all of them, but not other series with cool music as well, like Time Force, Mystic Force, Dino Charge etc). My least favourite is probably Beast Morphers. I can't actually find any PR opening song bad. Some lack originallity, some are just not as cool as the others, but every one delivers.

Chaka Blackmon gave it a nice “OutKast” feel, but it almost fell to Ron Wasserman again, who wrote a few themes.
