i kinda agree with that, achilles is literally a nightmare in open maps (especially higher difficulties)

I've mastered a lot in the game and have beaten hell mode to this day. I noticed I have a comment ranking bosses difficulty, so I think I will do an old throwback and make a new list based on modern opinion and skill level. If I had to rate boss difficulty on full team on maso difficulty with a mixed squad, on average these are the results: 1. Ares (Not sure how tf he was on this list but on siege he doesn't ever die from wave 1-10) 2. Hermes 3. Achilles 4. Daedalus 5. Sparta 6. Gaia 7. Trident 8. Prometheus 9. Fusilier 10. Tempest I can properly rate bosses more so for solo maso (Archi with recon): 1. Daedalus 2. Sparta 3. Hermes 4. Gaia (Ammo leacher lol) 5. Prometheus 6. Achilles 7. Fusilier 8. Trident 9. Tempest Hell mode: 1. Ares 2. Achilles 3. Hermes 4. Sparta 5. Daedalus 6. Prometheus 7. Gaia 8. Trident 9. Tempest 10. Fusilier

Hermes is definetly less of a threat than Ares. Assaults absolutely shred Hermes, but Ares, I *survived* him only once, as Scout, when the helo got done I could rev my teammates, and they were able to take him down, but those were a nerve-wracking 2-3 minutes of flying around trying to live.

Personally,I have fought Ares on two occasions and both resulted in a defeat. This man is so damn strong he just walks towards you without a care in the world,like this man has a mission and by god is he gonna finish it. As for Hermes and Sparta,both are glass cannons but Sparta is the more fun one in MM since he can easily cut apart an unprepared team or one that’s gotten cocky,and Hermes because though he’s strong he’s very squishy if 3-4 players are co-ordinated and competent,and can easily bring him down within seconds,hell it takes only two players if they’re decent enough.

ares is on top, especially with that mutilating stomp he has, not to mention hermes is mid tier if everyone focuses on him, even tho he has the highest dps in the game when its maso

As a guy who plays on dynamic difficulty and mains medic here is my personal list: 1. Ares [consistently squad wipes even without other noobs supporting him] 2. Sparta [crippling as hell since he makes everyone move constantly, especially bad since reviving means more health for him and i can't damage him with a bow] 3. Achillies [i use aerorig to move around, and this guy dont miss] 4. Trident [can be pretty bad when most of the team dont know how to deal with him, worst if i dont have a vitabow to revive my teammates] 5. Gaia [her strongest ability is to bore me to death because of how long it takes for her to die] 6. Tempest [barely poses any threat, unless i get blindsided by him appearing behind me or my teammate getting me chain reacted] 7. Hermes [used to fear him, but when i realized i could just aerorig his engines he barely posed any threat... unless when there were snipers] 8. Prometheus [even if im near him he takes a long time to kill me, i just use aerorig to escape him while everyone rains hell] 9. Daedalus [my man can't do anything when there's an aerorig medic] 10. Fusilier [literally never lost to him, always have tried to shovel duel him when i got the chance.]

Btw daedalus stopped using his pickaxe to attack by the time he stopped giving the mangled effect to people, he now throws karate kicks at you.

Hermes may look menacing at first glance. But You just need a 2 Armour peeler recons who also bought jetpack for mobility, it's intro may be one down side since it cannot attack at its intro, it gives the recon a chance to strike the Rocket pods. i'd say he goes on the 4th hardest boss, you may also struggle if you don't have the right defense. Extra note: hermes got defeated by a one singular specialist lol.

I think if the bosses are at their hardest then my list would go (this will also be a long list.) 1: Hermes. he has invincibility till all his parts gets destroyed. And his rapid fire gun shreds. He also kills alot of players at once. you have to get 4 little parts off the helicopter before doing damage and even then it gives a short amount of time before he becomes invincible again. 2: Trident. This is a hot take but let me explain. He is almost impossible to kill due to the dots being hard to shoot he also can instant kill with his melee and he sometimes bugs you and you straight up just die. and some guns wont do anything to him at all and you got to buy a certain gun so he makes some guns very useless against his dots. 3 Ares. His rocket legit does so much damage or just instantly kills you its not even fair + his knife is another instant kill he can also run at players and mutilate them he even has a rapid firing gun hes also one of the most durable bosses on top of this and he can take tons of shots yet still be running. 4 Tempest/Achilles. The Tempest one is very debatable but reasoning is when at his hardest he can still deal like a Half a quarter of your health with rapid fire. You cannot get close to him at all. He also chains so camping is not a good option unless somebody is distracting. + with his rapid fire he can basically just spam chain campers and take half their health away so he is annoying and if you dont react fast enough you die. Achillies because Im pretty sure he can teleport and he go away. His drone also being hard to hit and he has Armour peeler which can kill you very easily. His fire timing is really fast and he blinds you. and since he got a health boost he is now harder to kill. 5: Gaia. She has Upgrades gunners, and shielders. The shielders can go faster because they have sprinters streak and the Gunners have way more firerate and dmg with a literal minigun. She can also summon more enemies which she then heals. She even has a forcefield which can render all guns useless and you gotta go melee but even when approaching her the gunners and shielders shred you. 6: Sparta. He isnt really that hard as he barely has any health and was massively nerfed due to his gun being removed. Though he is very fast and can instant kill all it really takes is a distraction and somebody camping and he is down. 7: Daedalus. He isn't that hard but not that easy but you can literally solo daedalus. because of how easy he is though he does disable jetpacks which is annoying. 8: Prometheus. All it really takes is a recon and a distraction or anybody in general. All you really have to do is go for the tanks and he is down in 5 minutes. 9 Fusililer this boss is really easy you can literally rush him right when he spawns and he dies in like 3 minutes or just take his grenades and hit him with those. And that is my list hope you like it.

My opinion: 10.Fusilier Just stay in building and shoot him,dont get to close cuz the shovel 9.Tempest Stay far away and shoot him(if u have Sniper or good graphic quality) 8.Daedalus He still easy if you have scout 7.Trident You can dodge his hook or if you skill you can shoot the orb to free your self 6.Gaia *OVERCHARGE IS EVERYTHING* 5.Prometheus He got buff in 2.0 sometimes he still can kill you even you have jetpack if he leap *somehow very far* and burn you 4.Achilles This boss is difficult to fight if you dont have good AIM to shoot drone,i was stupid when standing next to his teleporter and he teleport and kill me 3.Sparta He is greece and he love speed so use scout is the best way to kill him,i think Gunslinger is better than Voltaic to solo him cuz it buff speed while shoot enemy 2.Hermes If u in city or other map have hide spot,you can say your allies lure him and shoot the rocket pop then attack,if you solo you should buy a medkit 1.Ares Fight him is the feel in Vietnam war 1964-1973

Difficulties of bosses varies too much. This excludes wave 9 bosses as I haven't gotten there yet: 1. Daedalus. 2. Hermes. 3. Fusilier. 4. Gaia. 5. Prometheus. 6. Tempest. Sparta would probably take #1, Trident would take #4, and achilles would take #2.

How to counter all bosses: WAVE 3 BOSSES Tempest: Do not get near your teammates whatsoever. Try and bait him one by one with jetpacks. Do not get close at all due to the proximity blast tempest has when dummys are in melee range. Scouts are the most must-have in this bossfight. Daedalus: Scouts are a must-have. Use your jetpack when daedalus finishes resurfacing and try to stay near your teammates (hes kinda the opposite of tempest lol) Fusiller: Stay far away and bait his attacks, His grenades depend mostly on your velocity and is very easy to counter with all classes. WAVE 6 BOSSES Gaia: Focus on gaia and try to break the escort shielders shields. Try and stay far away as possible so you dont have to deal with her lifestealing abillity. Do not let her health get too high unless you want to have a problem. After defeating gaia, Murder her escorts with overchargers or if your low, Stay far and take them one by one. Hermes: Scouts are really helpfull during these situations, Try and aim at the rocket pods first with high-firerate guns. Always be moving as he can use his rocket pods to kill you if your not situating enough on them. After destroying his rocket salvos, All you have to do now is shoot at the AT-99 Helicopter to destroy it. PYRO TF2 NO WAY (Prometheus): Again, Scouts are really helpfull with this boss. Stay far and focus on Prometheus's Tanks. They do really big damage when destroyed but are really Tanky. In his second phase again, Stay as far as possible and destroy his regenerated tanks. His HP Might have regened (dont remember clearly) So again, Focus on the tanks. WAVE 9 BOSSES Achilles: Sabotage his teleporters and try getting extremly close to him for the teleporters to deal extreme damage. Do not get in his sights as he is still able to one shot you with his armour peeler. (do note i think the devs removed achiles's machete so the teleporter part makes some sense) Trident: Make sure your always moving to avoid his grapple. If your grappled, Shoot the 1 - 2 Orbs that are on your left and right. Having high firerate damage weapons are really useful for this bossfight (His ronin also bypasses overcharges so dont be surprised if you died to him with overcharger.) SUNDOWNER OMG OMGOMGOMGOGMMGOGMGOMGOGMOG (Sparta): His attacks depends on your velocity. Weapons that make you fast like Sprinter's Streak Or melees are really usefull for this situation due to his Limited Mobility. EPILOGUE BOSS'es (ares is the only epilogue exclusive boss lol hes only avalible through hell mode also ) Ares: Do not fight him untill the helicopter Objective is fully completed. He has alot of attacks and abillitys so make sure your always moving during Combat. Try and kill all enemies as they provide alot of distraction while fighting ares.

I'd honestly put Prom higher on the list, sure he can be pretty easy to take care of but is still a huge threat especially when enraged. Plus on higher difficulties his gas tanks deal so much less damage to him. He usually dies instantly after being enraged due to him being vulnerable during the animation but if not taken care of can be a huge nuisance and threat and will get in the way of everything you try to do.

here's my list of weakest to hardest bosses at 10, i have tempest tempest is surprisingly easy for me (I main scout kit). just stay away from your teammates and try to lure tempest away too. tempest has a range for his electric gun as well as a reload. with the akimbo pistols' heal, he can be easily dealt with. at 9, i have prometheus prometheus is somewhat close to tempest, but he at least has the ability to close the distance between him and the player easily. however, his dash doesn't allow him to gain verticality. majority of the maps allow you to have the high ground, which he can only dream of. armor peeler is an amazing way to deal with his gas canisters in one shot. overall, still pretty easy. at 8, i have fusilier fusilier is tempest, but with range and explosives. he still has a maximum range and if you're recon kit, he is very easy to deal with. maps like archipelago allow you to snipe him from a massive distance. at 7, i have the hot take of sparta. sparta is very dependant on your teammates more than yourself. i'll say one thing, LURE HIM AWAY FROM TEAMMATES. I can't stress this enough, but if you stay grouped, he will heal and slaughter all of you simultaneously. however if you do lure him away and keep your distance, as long as you have something movement based, gunslingers or jetpack, he'll die pretty fast. at 6, i have daedalus daedalus is easy if you group up and stay on your toes. you can easily solo him with one weapon which is the gunslingers. the gunslingers give you enough speed to outspeed daedalus with your pistols out. at 5, i have achilles achilles is heavily dependent on the map. maps like archipelago is very much in achilles' favor. just stay behind cover almost all times and sabotage the teleporters while you're at it. if you see achilles rounding a corner, stay behind that corner and once he comes out, jump at him and he'll teleport away to hopefully a sabotaged tele. at 4, i have trident trident's biggest weakness is a large group of people and a medic with vitabow. he can be also distracted by hallucinator kit which can be useful for soloing. just think of this as a harder daedalus fight and you'll be fine. at 3, i have gaia gaia's strength is close ranged fights. keep your distance and recon kits are your best friends. like most other bosses, do not run in or run in with no cover. at 2, i have hermes hermes' strength is picking off players with ease. he is one of the hardest bosses and somehow the easiest bosses to fight. in pro servers, everyone focuses their fire onto hermes and he dies instantly. gaia and hermes are switchable in their positions at 1, i have ares in my masochist epilogue runs, we cant seem to get past him. his sheer amount of abilities keeps you on your toes, not to mention the nearly endless amounts of noobs in the 5 minutes you have to wait and fight in. also he revives himself if you kill him before the helicopter is on, so that's cool.

You can also melee the escorts quite easily, and I’ve managed to get 2 kills with one overcharge

I would say that prometheus would be a bit higher on the list just because he can see invis specialists and still attack them but other than a solo specialist situation i think your opinion is reasonable

my opinion 10. prometheus: he boasts the most health but is also veri weak because he cant bypass overcharge. so you can just overcharge rampage him 9. tempest: this boss, still like in 1.9, quite easy, especially in maps with many high grounds like garden and dune. an akimbo or bolter will greatly help killing him, but if you have a team that doesnt know how to social distance, well..... lets just hope something happens. 8. hermes: nowadays 99% of the server i encounter treats hermes like daedalus fighting a scout with terminal velocity. his fight only takes like 2 minutes and dont get me started on why bolter is very good against him 7. fusilier: this boss can be strong and can be extremely weak. a competent server can shred it in like 1 minute while a bad server may took 5 minutes to kill it. but hope no one is stupid enough to try and give this scrumpeh a whack in the face 6. gaia: the only thing dangerous about her is her escorts, bolter and armor peler can kill the escorts relatively quickly and once the escorts are dead, she become an absolute meat. the most satisfying thing to do is use melee and gang up on her 5. achilles: he is doom for archipelago players, dude can take on an unprepared team in like 1 minute. but once you got rid of his teleports you just need to make him teleport. 4. daedalus: still as dangerous as is 1.9, although it's quite easy to beat him now. just group up and shred him. 3. sparta: dude can be an absolute menace or just end up getting stuck in a stair. but if he does become a menace better pray that your team does not die to him while he's at 29 hp 2. trident: this man, absolute team wiper. you cant deal with the noobs if you does not have a proper look on them, and what does this man do when you try to get a proper look? grapple. plus, if you do actually manage to free yourself, the amount of noobs will still shred you. a very dangerous boss tbh. 1. ares: a vietnam war veteran that became an absolute unit. he is by far the most op team wiper in the game like once he spawns just hope you have a good player that can carry otherwise all that hard work reaching wave 3 on epilogue will just turn to ashes. but we're lucky he cant spawn on mastermind/siege, otherwise the chances of winning might be lower than ever...

But the moment you play masochist the order of hardest to easiest just gets entirely changed with some being unreasonably hard

In my opinion, Sparta, Trident and Ares are harder than Hermes. (Trident only because I don't have quick reaction speed to shoot the ball)

My rankings (cuz why not) 10: Fusiler (2/10) This boss is extremely easy, because he doesn't posess any dangerous abilities. You can even use his own grenades against him! 9. Tempest (3/10) This boss can make you have trust issues. Other than that, hes the same as Fusiler. (Without the grenades) 8. Sparta (4/10) Okay, guys calm down. He's just an easier Daedalus, especially since he's way later, and you can glitch his AI. 7. Gaia (5/10) You can just damage Gaia slowly while evading his minions attacks. It's just a slow, boring fight. 6. Trident (5/10) This is just another Fusiler. In the way that all you have to do is stay out of his sight to kill him. However casual players lack brain cells. 5. Daedalus (7/10) While having multiple players makes this boss easy, soloing it is another story, especially on Masochist. Well, unless you have a Machete. Or you are Scout. 4. Prometheus (7/10) Honestly, this boss could be defeated easily by a Recon using FAST and Armor Peeler. You can just go on Dune, break his tanks, and abuse FAST while waiting for him to die. 3. Hermes (8/10) If you are the last one left in a public server, and on a bad map, this boss can really make you have a hard time. He makes sure to chase you down, making you vulnerable to Snipers/Jetpackers. Only reason this boss isn't 2 is because Recon can easily pwn him, and this boss's difficulty depends on your situation. 2/7. Achilles (9.5/10) Every mastermind's best friend. A boss capable of not only putting pressure on you, but wiping out obsolete teammates aswell. Alone he isn't that hard, however this changes once many enemies go along with him. Only way this boss isn't a threat is either: On Solo, If there isn't other noobs, or if your team is capable of thinking. bruh i forgot teleporter 1. Ares (10/10) Honestly now that I think, he might not even be that hard. Sure he can mutilate, and have OP abilities, but all you really need to do in Epilogue is just clear out other enemies, rev the helicopter, then pwn Ares slowly. However evading him is a difficult task. Maybe I should make Achilles 1 and Ares 2.

I think it depends on difficulty since range dmg and speed varies but Achilles I say is near Hermes since on open maps or maso he can wipe a pro server but hey depends on skill

Ares is not that hard in my opinion. When i first defeated him, me and my teammates were baiting him into an open area then make him shoot with his LMG which he stops moving for a bit. Then we shoot him as much as possible. He usually dies after 3-4 times of doing this. But he will be very hard in siege maps since he is extremely dangerous when in a very open map (Archpelago for example). 6.5/10 for me

0. shielder. though shielder is not a boss, he will fnaf jumpscare the shit out of you and will kill you. Shielder's stealth upgrades have been maxed out and is now a hell of an enemy to kill.

Here's my rankings: 10th: Fusilier. He is, simply put, incredibly easy to deal with, only of concern when extremely close. 9th: Tempest. As long as you and your teammates can social distance, you're good. 8th: Daedalus. Quite easy to deal with, really, but when he suddenly targets you instead of someone else it can take you by surprise. 7th: Gaia. If you can avoid Gunners well enough, you can deal with her and her escorts, as the Escort Gunners are the biggest threat. 6th: Prometheus. He can be quite a pain to deal with, depending on the map. Especially if you're cool enough to not use Scout. 5th: Hermes. Haha bolter go chuchuchuchuchu OR steelforge go brrt brrt brrt brrt OR governor go brrrrrrrr. I haven't tried it, but I bet the stonehedge works pretty well too. 4th: Trident. Not that hard to deal with, treat him like a sniper, and avoid his sight lines, more of a problem are the enemies tearing you apart while you're grabbed. 3rd: Achilles. Even on dynamic, he's pretty easy, but on higher difficulties it gets pretty difficult. 2nd: Sparta. Unless you're a Scout (🤢) dealing with him tends to be really hard, especially on solo, where one person kiting him while the other shoot isn't doable. 1st: Ares. If you don't have a jetpack, you will not live. Running away is hard enough, let alone having to slow down to shoot him.

i dont know for sure but i feel like tempest got a damage nerf cause i remember being oneshotted by him but now he only does like 20 damage when he shocks you
