A habit I taught myself long ago. Put the tools away everyday and clean up a little. I believe it makes for faster and more pleasant work😀

That music when you first fitted the pipe and pins Too much. I was on the FLOOR! 😂😂. This build is great. I thought you might use the ribbed back of the cab for the tailgate panel. But I really like the curve of the door piece. 😊👍👍

Great job reusing parts from your salvage yard Duff. I was watching a show about patina If you mix: 16 ounces Hydrogen Peroxide 2 ounces white vinegar 1 table spoon salt Mix it in a spray bottle The patina comes instantly in seconds without waiting

You are a true artist. You are a trickster as well. My 1919 Dodge roadster pickup started life as a Ford Courier rat rod. I had an idea to take the word FORD on the tailgate cut out and reverse the R and weld it perfectly back into the gate. I am not an expert welder like you but I would love to see you do something like that - keep people guessing.

Now that's Bush engineering at it's finest, looks great and works even better than a factory gate, that lower panel is a place to really shine with sculpture and utility, some wild shapes and possibly a few loading lights and a receiver hitch, or maybe a roll out toolbox, be free my friend and run wild,,

That was an amazing fab ! I love it when you repurpose your yard treasure !!!!! Love the bushings man ! no squeak no rattle. I use a good amount of plastic in my trade of tool and die making. The plastic is a machine able grade called "Delrin." Looks very much like what you had. I know you have many hours in your tailgate and bed ends , but you make it look very easy ! Good work Bro.!!!!!!!

This man is amazing. No amount of schooling will teach this. This is only learned from the highly skilled old timers with hoards of experience. Hi Duff looks great can I suggest that you blast the truck and paint it flat black. You have alot of good fab work there hate to see it all rust away

Already have a flat black truck! Want to keep the patina of the cab, so will let it rust a little then treat with boiled linseed oil. You will see 😅

Awesome tailgate fabrication. That's a large area below the gate to fab up so I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
