@@AVoxintheVoiddefinitely, but a lot of the stories are quite a bit long. Some of Robert E. Howard’s other standalone stories would fit this channel too. _Valley of the Lost_ , _The Hoofed Thing_ , _The Black Stone_ , and especially _Th House of Arabu_ . That last one was very enjoyable. I also just listened to the first of his Bran Mak Morn stories, _Men of Shadows_ , which was excellent. A bit rambling at times, but very nice writing.

The Host vaguely reminded me of that self-aware bully from Key & Peele, and I couldn’t help but chuckle every time he raved about his brain getting broken from his ordeal. 😅 If only he had a buddy to high-five with, instead of all men being his foes. Maybe his fate would’ve been better..

I think I’ve listened to about every Solomon Kane story since listening to this one. All the others I haven’t heard are poems, which I think fit more of this channel, since all the stories are 30+ minutes long or even hours long. Great author, just don’t bring up race around him, yikes. I don’t even think Solomon Kane himself would approve of some of Robert E. Howards bigotry.
