Fast train - rail - wheel sounds of 63 freight and 109 passenger trains at HU western line. Railway traffic in Hungary always offers something interesting. The main railway line from Budapest to Vienna and western Hungary is mainholder of various freight and passenger trains. Almost all rail stations between Budapest, Győr and Hegyeshalom have a shelter places that have parts with little bad track joints and switches which produce old known train - rail - wheel sounds.
This video was supposed to be a classic video that presents rail traffic of freight and passenger trains in Hungary, at Western main railway line (Budapest - Hegyeshalom - Rajka vasútvonal). During the recording and collecting materials there were scenes of trains passing that produced really nice sounds of rattling wheels on the rails. That's when the idea of editing a video like this came up.
The video shows 63 freight, 109 passenger and 7 locomotive trains of various operators. On this line, trains runs at speeds up to 160 km/h. Freight trains runs up to 100km/h. In combination with the old tracks, slightly worse parts on the tracks, track switches and rail joint gaps, a very nice and interesting sounds were obtained.
For video creation purposes almost all stations and interesting scenes along the 200km long railway line were recorded. Extraordinary and unusual sounds appeared at the rail track junctions in the area of Győrszentiván and Győr-Gyárváros stations. There are views of the windmill field, the riverside and the Danube river bank near Komárom, the old railway bridge on the river Rába near Győr, interesting scenes at railroad level crossings and night scenes at Hungary - Austria border train station for the end. There are also train announcements and announcements of the danger of passing trains.
The recording was done during two separate visits to this railway line, at July and August 2021.
