RAV4FEST 2023 SOCAL EDITION. My Buddy Art and I organized a meet and chill event for Socal Rav4 owners in Hungry Valley SVRA Gorman, CA. Most of us know each other on social media particularly Instagram, but never met in person. RAV4FEST made it possible for most of us to finally meet in person. The event was a success! Meeting cool and fun people that hopefully turn in to a long time friendship thru any car community is always special. I would like to thank everyone that made this event a success. Cheers to the RAV4 community!

Awesome!! Currently got the Northwoods springs shipping, thinking about tires now, thinking 245/65/r17 What tires you know that people have liked for the rav?

Falken wildpeaks AT3W/AT4W are good. But me personally I like toyo open country ATIII. It never failed me and a bit lighter than the wildpeaks. Bfg, in my opinion, is overkill for a RAV.

Very cool how you all have such great overlanding setups on your RAV4. How big can you go w/ tires? Do larger wheels effect the fuel efficiency? I have the 2020 Hybrid and it's nice getting 37-40 mpg. I'm guessing many of you have beefed up the suspensions as well. Thanks for the video.

I think one of us is running 31" tires if not close to 31". And yes, larger tires will definitely affect your fuel efficiency. Most of us either have Eibach pro lift kit, flatout suspension, Northwoods, and Dendoffs springs. Thanks for tuning in my channel. Appreciate you🤙🏽

I've got a 2020 Rav4 XLE, interested in overlanding, where do I start? What was popular at the event?

My advice is, think how you really want to build your Rav. How much weight do you think you're going to add? RTT or ground tent? Start with the right springs/lift/suspension, then wheels and good AT tires. Then, the rest will follow. Take your time. 👍🏼
