CC is a good very solid player and I enjoy watching her but theoretically she’s not as great as people make her out to be. She’s a high volume shooter and her efficiency isn’t so great and when defended she doesn’t fair well. In my opinion the greats are crafty and find ways to score irrespective of who’s in front of them i.e. B. Stew, Maya Moore, DT, Dawn Staley, Sheryl Swoopes, etc.

Caitlin is a great player, but Raven had more desire. Very active defending. She took the championship away from Iowa by cutting off its head.

I was waiting for Raven Johnson and the South Carolina team. You just know Raven had too much time to sit with that wave off by Catlin. It was playing on loop in her head. I was pushing for South Carolina to meet up with Iowa. Once it happened...you just knew Raven was more than ready!!

What a steal! Clark was sleep walking. I guess she was already in shock. Look at Johnson expression at 0:14 One question: why Raven was not assigned from the beginning? It was no 28. She was not tight enough, specially when Clark did not have the ball. In opposite, Johnson was always very close, so Clark could not receive passes.

I think it is because Raven is shorter than Caitlin by 4 inches, so coach wanted someone taller to challenge Caitlin's shooting. But since that did not work, she switched to Raven. Raven has tenacity on defense and stayed very close to Caitlin, not letting her get comfortable. Lack of height was not a problem.

@@LuciaAIArt Yes. Also Johnson was always very close to Clark, even when she didn't have the ball. This way, Clark could hardly received a pass. The other was going to Clark only once she had possession of the ball.
