Simple tricks done over and over, no real innovation, spent decades trying to make those tricks perfect looking (and Nyjah in half the time has a way cleaner style). Ryan still looks messy. Don't get me wrong, I rate the bloke. Followed him as a fan from when I was 16 (and I'm 34). He shreds. But he ain't no GOAT. Not even in the conversation. He's f@#king sick. But he's far from the best. He's definitely one of the bravest. Insane commitment.

Eh depends on what we're talking about. As far as just skateboarding skill. He's good but i wouldn't say one of the best to ever do it. He came from the same Era as P rod and Jerry Hsu compared to skaters like that he's nothing too special. But if we're talking cultural impact he's up there. Won tons of competitions, had a successful tv show, brought skating more into the mainstream. Like a better Bam Margera

It's subjective of course but I would say Luan Oliveira is the best at style/flip tricks. Shane O'Neill is up there too.

Benjamin Compson most towns have a spoiled skater who has a bag of ten tricks they can always do , sheckler is a great skater but I have much more respect for someone creative.
