like fuck u mean “trenches” I lived in harbor city my whole life and grew up on 154th st which the internet claims there’s a gang activity and that it’s the Main Street where Harbor City crips live. But never did I ever see anything or hear any shootings 😭 there’s no real gangs or gangbangin goin on in the harbor area unless you go into san pedro and Wilmington area. Torrance, Carson, and harbor city are all safe and free from real gang members

I respect the fact that you cover the origin of how things started and the fact that this stuff is very real and alive still even though violence isn’t as high where it use to be in these states, alot people no matter the race still struggle to survive. You take things deeper then the surface, of course im not finna piggy back on everyone else but yes do be careful with the streets cause even your spirit is pure and good, if they don’t want it out they gone make sure it don’t get out. Man. Deep. Love it. I’m from St. Louis but lived in Los Angeles for 40 years. I feel this brothers. I even worked as security at night for 5 years in there hood. And I moved to Wilmington for two years. The gangs were just like we see .. they gave me all respect and me the same from me. I loved all the gangs because they love each other.

You should have seen these Harbor Village back when they were the Normant Terrace projects in the 90s. It looked like a third world zone. I grew up with a lot of the HCC at Fleming Middle School and Narbonne High. BTW Miko I met you in Sosua, Dominican Republic keep doing your thing. There audio at 59:05 is great in that walk through. I love the sound of the clip sliding into the strap. Next to Carson but Far from Carson . 2 different city's 2 different worlds, I go through both and seems Carson is an active city more of the city occupied by gangs. Alot of conflict there. I enjoy Harbor City to be honest I know it can have a grimy area but in all honesty I would feel alot safer in Harbor City with those gang members than I would In Carson. I live in Lomita next to Harbor City.
