Don't no city style like my city NYC. We been like that from the beginning. Don't no city stick together culturally on a ethnicity level like we do. Blacks ,PRs, Dominicans, Mexicans. There really isn't any separation. In our neighborhoods aint a lot of beef on a ethnic or racial scale. NYC the only city that "FOR THE MOST PART" you can come in any neighborhood and if you on some chill shit nobody really fucks with you. And that could be the most grimmy neighborhood in any of our boroughs. Born and raised in NYC and I love NYC to my grave. We are just different. But with that said I gotta get out. Africa, America, Europe Asia, white, black,brown etc, are names giving by the European colonizers to divided and classified an entire group of people that have no relations... Nobody around the world used those names to identify their groups before the European invitations. You had the Mandinka people, the Zulus, the Igbo's, the Ekpe's, the Moor's, the Maasais, the Hadzabes. i could go on and on. None of these people called themselves Africans or neither "Black". Great video. Inwood was always working and middle class. Lots of families came and went over the years. Funny thing is that white people were majority in Inwood until the 1970s and 80s when the Dominicans started coming in great numbers. These neighborhoods will keep changing every few generations. I see lots of middle eastern, Europeans and Mexicans now. Just the way NYC is. I wonder if these young men have explored places beyond NYC. There is a a whole world out there fellas. You have go out and explore.. Get a passport, see the world.

@Contacto_rd come back to Manhattan in about 25-30 years my friend. The people that you know now will be be long gone. The old timers will have passed and some will move to more affordable places. Today, many smart educated Dominicans are already moving away from NYC. Once those apartments vacate the landlords will upgrade and charge more rent. All of Manhattan will be unaffordable to the middle and working class. Gentrification is already happening everywhere.
