As a Hyderabadi born n brought up here we had seen Hyderabad transformation. The main backbone of this is Visionary leader CBN. Hyderabad before 1995 and after 2004 shows what he has done. We r witnessed Hi-Tech city coming, ORR,Shamshabad airport, Afro-asian games,Balayogi stadium, Pharma city, ISB, IIIT,NALSAR,Gandhi hospital,Flyovers,road widening, MMTS etc etc...CBN is father of modern Hyderabad. Other CMs build on it, n enjoying fruits of vision of CBN.Hats up to CBN sir.

Trivia: Randeep Sudan IAS was the brain of the vision of Naidu. He was key in bringing HYD to the IT map of India. After Naidu lost in 2004, Randeep left IAS and joined World Bank. He was the collector of my native district East Godavari during my childhood.

The interview clearly demonstrates that IT boom was due to Y2K problem. Bangalore was already over-crowded. Hyderabad was very new .. anyone who was CM that time would have done the same.

@@kamandalamjalam1541 true that the Y2K problem played a significant role in boosting the IT industry in India, particularly in cities like Bangalore & Hyderabad, it would be unfair to deny the substantial contribution made by Chandra Babu Naidu as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh to the growth of the IT industry in Hyderabad. Several factors like Early Recognition of IT Potential, Proactive Policies, Visionary Leadership, Branding & Marketing, Developing Public-Private Partnerships, Skill Development, Infrastructure Development etc played a role in fostering IT in Hyd. It was the proactive and strategic approach taken by Chandra Babu Naidu's government that helped Hyd emerge as a major IT hub in India. His contributions cannot be dismissed, as he played a crucial role in shaping the growth and success of the IT industry in Hyderabad. CBN is a Technocrat & giving a presentation is completely another task that only Technocrats can accomplish. I don’t think at that time anyone even across India as abilities like CBN on Technical level from State to pull off such a task.

@@kamandalamjalam1541 crisis need to be turned into opportunities sir. That was done by Mr Chandrababu. Interview also shown, how much interest Mr Babu took to get Microsoft to Hyderabad sir. Even though Y2K problem was there, any city could have used that Y2K problem, but Mr. Babu grabbed that opportunity to the Hyderabad. Microsoft was the main reason for IT development in Hyderabad. If anybody work's hard, we need to appreciate. That's how we get commonsense, sensitivity to the politics sir.

@@varaprasadization nee bondha...many cities developed those time, Chennai, Delhi NCR and Pune were also developing that time. Its that no CM wanted this kind of cheap and over-hyped publicity. Microsoft is just one company which can provide few hundreds jobs. But companies like Wipro, Infosys and Satyam provided lakhs of jobs. They just go where ever is profitable. They have offices and development centers in Mysore, Bhubhaneswar by 2001. It was a Great Boom for Indian cheap labour. Hyderabad was already having very good companies like Mentor Graphics, CMC, Infotech, Satyam...which provide lakhs of jobs.

Almost all States in India and all countries in the world promoted IT since last 20 years. In fact, Hyderabad with so much hype could not even come closer to Bangalore, the city which is still exporting nearly 50% of total Indian software exports. The fake story created by CBN and promoted by Yellow Media. Nothing else. The main beneficiairies are Ramoji Rao, Murali Mohan and the entire Kamma community.

I regret not having come across this video for 6 long months. Far too long, I have heard fragmented stories of the evolution & growth of I.T. Industry in Hyderabad. But today, it was both intriguing and fascinating to know the origins & the milestones of the Industry in our city. It was a great effort from your team to have found one of the pioneers of the Industry & host him. And The way JA Chowdhary sir keenly remembers his colleagues names with whom he worked 25 yrs back & the passion with which he speaks makes me believe that his experience and wisdom is unparalleled. I would also like to especially mention how thankful we should be to such honest bureaucrats. I have worked in the Special Economic Zone (Similar to STPIs) as a Customs Compliance Associate fresh out of college & I had the first hand real-life experience of how corrupt the Customs Officers could be as recently as 2020-21. And for him to remain honest & upright in those days of license Raj stand’s testimony to his integrity. Kudos & Great efforts once again, guys 👏

Where did Rajiv Gandhi who started the concept of stpi, pv Narasimha Rao who brought in reforms go?? When IT was booming in Hyderabad even if a dog was CM, hyderabad would have been the same as today. CBN just did real estate business in and around hyderabad catching the hype and got benefitted by it. But many people don't agree it due to many reasons. It's upto their thinking capacity.

How CBN founder of IT in india ? It was Karnataka Govt back in 1985 which allowed Texas Instruments to establish overseas development centre when TN and Maharashtra refused them. Infact Karnataka was the first state to adopt IT policy in 1997. Then SM krishna the CM of Karnataka gave it a big push. Stop taking credits for everything.

Banglore has 22L it employees and Hyderabad has 9L it employees. So you can see the difference. Without developing how did that become possible ? Please talk with some sense bro 🤦

The only chief minister who can revive Andhra Pradesh is Chandra babu after listening to his speech.. In the comments below they are fighting for what CBN has done... See the speech ktr and kcr gave about what CBN did during that time for Hyderabad.. even ysr supported for sure... Jagan is quite opposite to development.... No company is interested in investing in Andhra Pradesh... See his ministers none of them can even speak a word with MNC's that's the level of their education.... Education is not about degrees it's about what they know... I feel they are small minded people who don't deserve to stay in the cabinet... They only know to abuse.... I'm not from Andhra but still I feel that is the scene there...

The same IT park has one library which is dedicated to demonstrate how Software industry has grown in India. You have all prominent personalities there. The cheat called 420 CBN was not even added to that list

- So idea of airport,ORR was of chandra babu naidu sir and implemented by succesive chief minister; - CBN was the reason for Bill gates,Bill clinton"s visit,ISB establishing;; - CBN sir was the proactive chief minister; -some people say hyderaabd has 400 years history thats why its developed. But 400 years history has nothing to do with revenue,income,infrastructure its all becasoe of IT and CBN. IT,service sectors are generating money not charminar,golkonda ,museum entry tickets. ISB,nalsar,every central government organization institutes are because of CBN.ungratitude people might forgot him due to political reasons but early 2000's CBN was the topic of national media.
